Clayface 2026 Movie Trailer

Today we have new trailers for:
  • The DC comic book body horror film "Clayface" directed by James Watkins ("Eden Lake", "Speak No Evil") from a screenplay by Mike Flanagan ("The Haunting of Hill House", "Black Mass") and Hossein Amini ("Drive"). The cast includes Tom Rhys Harries, Naomi Ackie, David Dencik, Max Minghella and Eddie Marsan.
  • John Carney's new musical dramedy "Power Ballad" starring Paul Rudd and Nick Jonas.
  • "Carolina Caroline" is a romantic crime thriller written and directed by Adam Rehmeier ("Dinner in America"). The film stars Samara Weaving, Kyle Gallner, Kyra Sedgwick and Jon Gries.
  • The concert film "Billie Eilish: Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour (Live in 3D)" co-directed by Billie Eilish and James Cameron.
  • The drama "The Birthday Party" co-written and directed by Miguel Ángel Jiménez ("Window to the Sea") based on the 2007 novel of the same name by Panos Karnezis. The film stars Willem Dafoe, Vic Carmen Sonne, Joe Cole, Emma Suarez and Carlos Cuevas.
  • The British biopic "Moss & Freud" starring Ellie Bamber as 1990s supermodel Kate Moss, and Derek Jacobi as legendary painter Lucian Freud.

Synopsis:

"DC Studios’ first-ever foray into the genre, “Clayface” is a horror thriller from director James Watkins, starring Tom Rhys Harries in the title role of the Gotham City villain.

“Clayface” unravels one man’s horrifying descent from rising Hollywood star to revenge-filled monster in a story that explores the loss of one’s identity and humanity, corrosive love, and the dark underbelly of scientific ambition.

The film also stars Naomi Ackie, David Dencik, Max Minghella and Eddie Marsan, as well as Nancy Carroll and Joshua James. James Watkins directs from a screenplay by Mike Flanagan and Hossein Amini, story by Flanagan, based on characters from DC. The film is produced by Matt Reeves, Lynn Harris, James Gunn and Peter Safran, with Michael E. Uslan, Rafi Crohn, Paul Ritchie, Chantal Nong Vo and Lars P. Winther executive producing.

Watkins’ creative team includes director of photography Rob Hardy, production designer James Price, editor Jon Harris, visual effects supervisor Angus Bickerton, costume designer Keith Madden, and casting director Lucy Bevan.

DC Studios Presents, in association with Domain Entertainment, a 6th & Idaho Production, a James Watkins Film, “Clayface.” The film will be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures and released only in theaters in North America on October 23, 2026, and internationally beginning 21 October 2026."

Synopsis:

"The story is set in the late 1970s somewhere in the Mediterranean, where Marcos Timoleon, an Aristotle Onassis-like tycoon, is throwing a lavish, extravagant birthday party for Sofia, his daughter and sole heiress, on his exclusive private island. The party is a perfect excuse for various people in his life to approach him with their own agendas.
