"The Deep Dark" ("Gueules noires") is a French horror film written and directed by Mathieu Turi ("Hostile", "Watch Dogs"). The film follows a group of 1950s miners trapped underground with a professor, who discover an ancient bloodthirsty creature. The cast includes Samuel Le Bihan, Amir El Kacem, Jean-Hugues Anglade, Thomas Soliveres, Diego Martin and Bruno Sanches. "The Deep Dark" was released in theaters in France on November 15, 2023. On March 24, 2026 it was released on digital platforms.
