"The Classroom of a Black Cat and a Witch" is a new anime series based on the Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yosuke Kaneda. The show is directed by Naomasa Tatsuwa ("The Island of Giant Insects") at LIDENFILMS, with series composition written by Midori Goto, and character designs by Takayuki Onoda ("Hortensia SAGA")

The show will run for two consecutive cours. The first cours will feature the opening theme song "Cusp" performed by Asca, and the ending song "Tune Up" by Spira Spica. For the second cours, the ending theme song is "Twilight Magic" performed by Shoko Nakagawa.

The voice cast includes Kaede Hondo, Fuka Izumi, Haruka Shiraishi, Tomohiro Ono, Yuo Uemura, Rena Hasegawa and Fairouz Ai. "The Classroom of a Black Cat and a Witch" premiered on April 12, 2026 and also streams on Crunchyroll.
