Cooper Hoffman to Star in Hulu Snowboarding Drama Pilot DURANGO

Cooper Hoffman has signed on to star in Hulu's new drama pilot "Durango" penned by Eliza Clark, who also serves as executive producer. Here is the official synopsis: "Mikey is a ski bum townie chasing a buzz. Bunny is a homeschooled runaway working as a greasy-spoon waitress. Together they’re riding an avalanche of bad decisions and falling in love while running from cops, criminals, and Mikey’s wife in pursuit of their own American dream".

Hoffman's character, Mikey, has been described as an "easy-going and street savvy local snowboarding legend whose dreams of competing in the Olympics were cut short by an injury. He agrees to participate in a green card marriage with newcomer Bunny for cash, but after actually falling for her, he unwittingly gets pulled into something far more dangerous".

Executive producers also include Michael Ellenberg via Media Res. 20th Century Television and Media Res serve as producers.

Hoffman can next be seen in the darkly comic thriller "I Want Your Sex" directed by Greg Araki and co-starring Olivia Wilde, Maude Apatow's "Poetic License", Luca Guadagnino's AI drama "Artificial" and A24's road comedy "The Chaperones" opposite his "Long Walk" co-star David Jonsson.
