Dark City 1998 New On Bluray And 4k Arrow

Product Description: A mind-bending science fiction thriller set in a shadowy world where the sun never rises and nothing is quite what it seems. From Alex Proyas, visionary director of The Crow, comes Dark City, a mind-bending science fiction thriller set in a shadowy world where the sun never rises and nothing is quite what it seems.

John Murdoch (Rufus Sewell) wakes in a hotel bathtub with no memory of who he is or how he got there, but there's a body on the floor with bloody spirals carved into the flesh and a voice on the phone that tells him to flee. Soon Murdoch is on the run, wanted by the police, a woman who claims to be his wife and a group of mysterious pale men who seem to control everyone and everything in the city... except him.

With a cast that includes Kiefer Sutherland (The Lost Boys), William Hurt (A History of Violence), Jennifer Connelly (Phenomena) and Richard O'Brien (The Rocky Horror Picture Show), and a script by Proyas, Lem Dobbs (Kafka) and David S. Goyer (Batman Begins), Dark City is a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma, filmed through a lens of film noir and German expressionism... an extraordinary feast for the cinematic senses.

Spirits Of The Air Gremlins Of The Clouds 1987 New On Bluray

Product Description: For paraplegic Felix Crabtree (Michael Lake) and his fanatically religious sister Betty (Rhys Davis), the solitude of their shack-dwelling existence within a post-apocalyptic desert was interrupted by the arrival of jittery young fugitive Smith (Norman Boyd). When Smith asserts the engineering know-how to build a flying machine that would grant all three escape, the siblings may be poised for a fateful and final falling out, in this provocative parable that marked Alex Proyas' feature directing debut.

gods-of-egypt-final-trailer-clips-and-posters

Today we have the final trailer, four clips and twelve posters for the trippy fantasy epic "Gods of Egypt".

The movie has been slammed by critics, which was actually to be expected if you've watched any of the trailers. Reviewers say that it's so bad it's not even good. The movie is apparently so abysmally bad that Rottentomatoes.com actually wrote a poetic riff on Percy Bysshe Shelley's sonnet "Ozymandias" instead of their usual prosaic Critical Consensus: Look on Gods of Egypt, ye filmgoers, and despair! Nothing beside remains. Round the decay of this colossal wreck, boundless and bare. The lone and level sands stretch far away. (Apologies to Shelley.)" Yup, I guess that's pretty freakin' bad.

Directed by Alex Proyas ("The Crow"), the film stars Brenton Thwaites, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Gerard Butler, Courtney Eaton, Abbey Lee, Geoffrey Rush, Rufus Sewell, Elodie Yung and Chadwick Boseman.

"Gods of Egypt" opens in theaters on February 26th, 2016.

new-gods-of-egypt-trailer-and-poster

A new trailer and poster for Alex Proyas' "Gods of Egypt" have been released online.

The fantasy adventure stars Brenton Thwaites as a young thief who joins forces with the Egiptian god Horus (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) in order to overthrow the dark reign of Set (Gerard Butler).

There's a whole lot of CGI in this movie and it looks as silly as 2015's "Jupiter Ascending". I'm not sure just what exactly is the tone they're aiming for, but following the recent formal apology issued by Lionsgate and Proyas for their non-race-appropriate casting, it looks like a bumpy road ahead for this movie.

The cast also features Courtney Eaton, Abbey Lee, Geoffrey Rush, Rufus Sewell, Elodie Yung and Chadwick Boseman.

"Gods of Egypt" opens in theaters on February 26th, 2016.
