Product Description: A snowy New York City night, a beloved teacher, a shocking crime: this provocative drama pieces together the puzzle of a man's life just before it changes forever. While on his way home one evening, Walter Zarrow (Sam Waterston), a popular Columbia University philosophy professor, is violently attacked on the street. Flash back one week, as actor-director Tim Blake Nelson traces the domino effect of events that led up to this seemingly senseless assault. Along the way, hidden connections between a seemingly disparate group of people-including a self-destructive student (Kristen Stewart), a hard-drinking suburban housewife (Gretchen Mol), and a desperate junkie (K. In Theaters: THE REVENANT, THE FOREST, ANESTHESIA, DIABLO

This week, Alejandro Gonzalez Iñárritu's awards contender "The Revenant" makes its nationwide debut. The only new wide release is the horror "The Forest" starring Natalie Dormer. This one, however, is not an awards hopeful. Two somewhat interesting new releases in limited release, as well. The first is "Anesthesia" a drama written and directed by actor Tim Blake Nelson which stars Kristen Stewart, while the other is a western drama called "Diablo" which stars Scott Eastwood and Walton Goggins. ANESTHESIA Trailer and Poster

Today we have the official trailer and poster for the drama "Anesthesia". Written and directed by Tim Blake Nelson, the film tells the story of multiple lives that intersect in the aftermath of the violent mugging of a Columbia University philosophy professor (Sam Waterston). The film also stars Kristen Stewart, Corey Stoll, Glenn Close, Scott Cohen, J. Bernard Calloway and Katie Chang.

"Anesthesia" begins a limited run in theaters today.
