THE LONE RANGER Production Update and First Official Image

After serious struggles to get "The Lone Ranger" production started through budget cuts and rewrites, the adaptation of the classic western TV series has begun filming and we already have our first official image from the movie, via Jerry Bruckheimer's Twitter (left - click to enlarge). "The Lone Ranger" is directed by Gore Verbinski ("Pirates of the Caribbean", "Rango") and stars Arnie Hammer as the title character and Johnny Depp as Tonto, his faithful sidekick. Also starring are Helen Bonham Carter, William Fichtner, Tom Wilkinson, Barry Pepper, James Badge Dale and Ruth Wilson. The movie is scheduled for release on May 31, 2013.
