MAX STEEL Clip, TV Spots, Images and Posters

"Max Steel" is a new superhero flick and Mattel's first live-action feature film, based on their action figure and the animated series of the same name.

Ben Winchell stars as Max McGrath, a teenager with tremendous powers who forms a symbiotic bond with a techno-organic extraterrestrial named Steel (voiced by Josh Brener). Together they become Max Steel, a superhero possessing powerful strength beyond anything in our world.

Directed by Stewart Hendler ("H+"), the film also stars Ana Villafañe, Maria Bello, Andy Garcia and Mike Doyle.

"Max Steel" opens in theaters on October 14th.

MAX STEEL Images: Mattel Action Figure Movie First Look

The first official images for "Max Steel" have been released. The film is based on the Mattel action figure of the same name and directed by Stewart Hendler ("Sorority Row") from a script by Christopher Yost ("Thor: The Dark World"). Disney XD star Ben Winchell stars as "16-year-old Max who is going through a particularly uncomfortable bout of puberty: it seems he has hidden powers that when combined with an extraterrestrial friend, Steel, produce ‘the universe’s most powerful energy.’ The two join forces to become super hero Max Steel." The film also stars Andy Garcia, Maria Bello and Ana Villafañe.

"Max Steel" is currently in post-production and it does not have a release date set, but it's expected to arrive in theaters sometime in 2015.
