DAREDEVIL Season 2 Final Trailer and 7 New Posters

Today we have the final trailer and seven new posters for the second season of the Marvel/Netflix series "Daredevil". Season 2 will premiere on March 18th, but we already have some very positive early reviews. The good news is that it's still excellent. One critic says it's "Bloody, brutal, and bolstered by two flawless casting additions" while another reviewer calls it "a show without fear". The series stars Charlie Cox, Jon Bernthal, Elodie Yung, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Rosario Dawson and Scott Glenn.

DAREDEVIL Season 2 Elektra Trailer and Poster

After the release of the Punisher-centric trailer last week for "Daredevil" Season 2, it's time for Elektra (Elodie Yung) to get her time in the spotlight with a new trailer and poster. The new video also teases the rise of the crime syndicate known as The Hand. The show also stars Charlie Cox, Jon Bernthal, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Rosario Dawson and Scott Glenn.

"Daredevil" Season 2 will premiere on March 18th.

DAREDEVIL Season 2 Punisher Trailer

Marvel and Netflix have released a new trailer for the second season of "Daredevil". The series will introduce The Punisher (Jon Bernthal) in the new season as an antagonist, and the trailer focuses on Frank Castle's vendetta colliding with our superhero protagonist's method of handling justice.

It's all drenched in darkness and it looks like Daredevil (Charlie Cox) may have met his match. The final moments of the trailer also briefly introduce Elektra Natchios (Elodie Yung). A "Part Two" trailer will debut on February 25th.

The show also stars Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Rosario Dawson and Scott Glenn.

"Daredevil" Season 2 will premiere on March 18th.

DAREDEVIL Season 2 Trailers, Images and Poster

The first trailers, images and poster for the second season of Marvel and Netflix's "Daredevil" series have been released online. The new season will introduce new characters like The Punisher (Jon Bernthal) and Elektra Natchios (Elodie Yung), but other than that, not much is known about the plot. Returning for Season 2 are Charlie Cox, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Rosario Dawson and Scott Glenn.

The full second season of "Daredevil" Season 2 will premiere on March 18th.

DAREDEVIL Season 2: Elodie Yung Cast as Elektra and New Set Photos

After announcing that Jon Bernthal would join the second season of Netflix's "Daredevil" series as The Punisher, it has now been officially announced that "G.I. Joe: Retaliation" actress Elodie Yung has been cast as Elektra Natchios. The character has been described by Marvel as being "a mysterious woman from Matt Murdock’s past whose dangerous and exotic ways may be more than he can handle." Here's what Executive Producer and Head of Marvel Television, Jeph Loeb had to say about the casting:

"After a worldwide search, we found in Elodie the perfect actress to embody both Elektra’s impressive and deadly physicality, as well as her psychological complexity…Paired with Charlie as Matt Murdock, the two will bring one of the most beloved and tumultuous comic book relationships to life with all the accompanying sparks and spectacular action sequences the show is known for."

Filming for "Daredevil" Season Two has already begun with new showrunners Doug Petrie and Marco Ramirez. The new season will premiere in 2016. Until then, check out the set photos below:

Jon Bernthal Set as The Punisher for DAREDEVIL Season 2

It is now officially confirmed that The Punisher is ready to make his appearance in the Marvel universe. "The Walking Dead" and "Fury" actor Jon Bernthal is set to star as Frank Castle aka The Punisher in the second season of Netflix's "Daredevil" series. Like Daredevil, Castle is a vigilante, albeit one with a more ruthless Modus operandi, so there should be an interesting dynamic between the two. Here's what Marvel's Head of Television Jeph Loeb had to say about Bernthal's casting:

"Jon Bernthal brings an unmatched intensity to every role he takes on, with a potent blend of power, motivation and vulnerability that will connect with audiences. Castle’s appearance will bring dramatic changes to the world of Matt Murdock and nothing will be the same."

After a successful first season, the show will undergo further changes. Showrunner Steven S. DeKnight has departed the series and is now working for Paramount in shaping up the franchise's future sequels and spinoffs. For the new season his place will be taken by two of the show's writers, Marco Ramirez and Doug Petrie.

"Daredevil" Season 2 will premiere in 2016.
