Weekend Box-Office: THE BATMAN Threepeats With $36.8M and Hits $300M Domestically
"The Batman" is still the top movie at the box-office for a third consecutive weekend. The biggest surprise of the week, however, is the Japanese anime film "Jujutsu Kaisen 0", which pulled of quite an impressive feat. Other new releases this week include the horror films "X" and "Umma", the suspense thriller "The Outfit", and the Historical Hindi-language drama "The Kashmir Files".

Weekend Box-Office The Batman Sophomore frame

With no new wide releases for the weekend, "The Batman" had a clear path to the top of the box-office in its sophomore frame, and the film managed to perform better than any other recent Batman movie. Also, the Top 5 this weekend looks exactly the same as it did last week.

Box-Office: UNCHARTED Wins Second Weekend

With no new major releases in theaters this weekend, "Uncharted" easily held on to the top spot. Meanwhile, Open Road released the Foo Fighters horror comedy "Studio 666", and United Artists Releasing expanded "Cyrano" into a semi-wided release.

DOG (2022) - Trailers, Clips, Featurettes, Images and Poster

"Dog" is a road dramedy directed by Channing Tatum and Reid Carolin, both making their feature directorial debuts. Tatum also stars as an Army Ranger tasked with bringing Lulu, a Belgian Malinois military working dog, down the Pacific Coast from Joint Base Lewis–McChord in Washington to Nogales, Arizona in time to attend her handler's funeral. The cast also includes Jane Adams, Kevin Nash, Q'orianka Kilcher, Ethan Suplee, Emmy Raver-Lampman, and Nicole LaLiberte also star. The film opened in theaters on February 18, 2022.

Box-Office: UNCHARTED Tops Presidents' Day Weekend With $45 Million

This week's new releases helped the box-office recover after the lackluster Super Bowl weekend results. This year's President's Day weekend saw the release of the highly anticipated video game adaptation "Uncharted" starring Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg, Channing Tatum's directorial debut "Dog" and LD Entertainment's horror film "The Cursed".

  • Guillermo del Toro's new film, the crime noir thriller "Nightmare Alley" starring Bradley Cooper, Cate Blanchett, Toni Collette, Willem Dafoe, Rooney Mara, David Strathairn and Ron Perlman.
  • The romantic comedy "Marry Me" starring Jennifer Lopez, Owen Wilson, Maluma, John Bradley and Sarah Silverman.
  • The new Disney/Pixar movie "Turning Red".
  • Adam McKay's new comedy "Don't Look Up" starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, Jonah Hill, Meryl Streep, Ariana Grande, Rob Morgan, Cate Blanchett and more.
