"Maldoror" is a Belgian crime thriller directed by Fabrice du Welz ("Calvaire", "Alleluia") from a screenplay he co-wrote alongside Domenico La Porta based on the case of Belgian serial killer and child molester Marc Dutroux. The film stars Anthony Bajon, Alba Gaia Bellugi, Alexis Manenti, Sergi Lopez, Laurent Lucas, David Murgia and Beatrice Dalle It premiered at the 2024 Venice International Film Festival and opened in theaters in France on January 15, 2025. In the US it was released via streaming on January 16, 2026.
