HAPPIEST SEASON (2020) - Trailer, Images and Poster

"Happiest Season" is a romantic comedy directed by Clea DuVall from a script she co-wrote with Mary Holland.

The film tells the story of a woman (Kristen Stewart who is about to meet her girlfriend's (Mackenzie Davis) family for the first time at their annual Christmas dinner, where she also intends to propose, only to discover that her girlfriend hasn't come out to her conservative parents. Aubrey Plaza, Dan Levy, Victor Garber, Mary Steenburgen, Ana Gasteyer and Jake McDorman co-star.

"Happiest Season" premieres on November 25, 2020 on Hulu.

Kristen Stewart in Talks to Star in Rom-Com HAPPIEST SEASON

Kristen Stewart is in talks to star in the holiday romantic comedy "Happiest Season" from TriStar Pictures. The film will be directed by "The Faculty" and "Argo" actress Clea DuVall based on a script she co-wrote with Mary Holland. This isn't DuVall's directorial debut, however, as she also wrote and directed the 2016 dramedy "The Intervention".

The film tells the story of a young woman whose plan to propose to her girlfriend while at her family's annual holiday party is upended when she discovers her partner hasn't yet come out to her conservative parents.

Stewart recently starred in the biopics "Jeremiah Terminator LeRoy" and "Lizzie". She is also set to star in the "Charlie's Angels" reboot directed by Elizabeth Banks, and can also be seen next year in the disaster thriller "Underwater", and the biopic "Against All Enemies".
