STAR TREK: PRODIGY Season 2 Trailer, Images and Poster

The second season of the animated sci-fi series "Star Trek: Prodigy" has premiered on July 1, 2024 on Netflix, after the show was cancelled by Paramount+ last year. Created by Dan and Kevin Hageman, the show stars Rylee Alazraqui, Dee Bradley Baker, Brett Gray, Angus Imrie, Ella Purnell, John Noble, Kate Mulgrew, Jimmi Simpson and Jason Mantzoukas.

"Star Trek: Prodigy" is an animated series created by Kevin Hageman and Dan Hageman as part of Alex Kurtzman's expanded "Star Trek Universe". The voice cast includes Kate Mulgrew, Rylee Alazraqui, Brett Gray, Angus Imrie, Jason Mantzoukas, Ella Purnell, Dee Bradley Baker, John Noble, and Jimmi Simpson. The series premiered on October 28, 2021 on Paramount+. The first season will then air on Nickelodeon before the second season is released on Paramount+

Morena Baccarin to Star in Sci-Fi Comedy Series for NENT Group's Viaplay

"Gotham" and "Deadpool" star Morena Baccarin has joined the cast of "Home Invasion", an upcoming sci-fi comedy series produced by NENT (Nordic Entertainment) Group's Brain Academy ("Conspiracy of Silence").

The six-part English language show focuses on a normal family made up of aliens sent to invade Earth, who are also having second thoughts about their deadly mission. The story's protagonists are two burglars who break into a house and find themselves face to face with an absurd close encounter. The cast also includes Johan Glans ("Swedish Dicks") and John Noble ("Fringe"). Don Bitters ("House of Cards") is set to direct and create the visual effects.

NENT Group intends to release 20 original productions every year. Their English language projects also include the thriller series "Shadowplay" starring Taylor Kitsch and Michael C. Hall, and Brendan Fraser's "The Professionals", which has been described as a loose remake of "Soldiers of Fortune". Viaplay Chief Content Officer Jakob Mejlhede Andersen offers more details about the group's objectives:
