Joshua Jackson and Michelle Monaghan Join YOUR FRIENDS & NEIGHBORS Season 3

Joshua Jackson ("The Affair", "Doctor Odyssey") and Michelle Monaghan ("The White Lotus", "True Detective") have joined the cast of "Your Friends & Neighbors" Season 3. Jackson will have a major recurring role, while Monaghan will be a series regular alongside star and executive producer Jon Hamm.

Character details are not being released. Monaghan has reportedly signed on to a one-year deal to play a potential new love interest for Hamm's Andrew Cooper, who in Season 3 will be doubling down on his life as an unlikely suburban thief, until the arrival of a new neighbor threatens to expose his secrets and place his family at risk.

The show is created by Jonathan Tropper ("Banshee"), who also serves as showrunner and director. The series also stars Amanda Peet, Olivia Munn, James Marsden, Hoon Lee, Mark Tallman, Lena Hall, Aimee Carrero, Eunice Bae, Isabel Gravitt and Donovan Colan.

"Your Friends & Neighbors" is produced by Apple Studios, and executive produced by Tropper through Tropper Ink under his overall deal with Apple TV, Hamm, Connie Tavel, Craig Gillespie, Jamie Rosengard, Lori Keith Douglas and Stephanie Laing. The latter also directs six episodes.

Jackson can next be seen in "Happy Hours" opposite Katie Holmes, and is also set to star in the HBO Max drama pilot "How To Survive Without Me".

Katie Holmes To Star In, Write & Direct HAPPY HOURS Film Trilogy

Katie Holmes is set to write, direct and star in the character-driven dramedy "Happy Hours", a new film trilogy produced by Maven Screen Media and Bond Street Station, in association with Crown Productions and STX Films. Holmes will reunite with her "Dawson's Creek" co-star Joshua Jackson. Production on the first film is underway in New York City, and will be immediately followed by the second and third installments.

"Happy Hours" explores the emotional journey of young loves who reconnect as adults, with the connective thread of shared joys, loss, and hope. It has been described as a story about two people (Jackson and Holmes) navigating their relationship within the challenges of careers and family responsibilities and the pursuit of love, despite life’s inevitable obstacles.

The cast also includes Mary-Louise Parker, Constance Wu, Joe Tippett, John McGinty, Donald Webber Jr., Nathan Darrow, Johnna Dias-Watson and Jack Martin.

"Karate Kid: Legends" is a martial arts drama directed by Jonathan Entwistle from a script by Rob Lieber. The film is the sixth installment in the "Karate Kid" franchise and is set after the events of the TV series "Cobra Kai". DOCTOR ODYSSEY Series Trailers, Featurette, Images and Posters

"Doctor Odyssey" is a new procedural medical drama created by Ryan Murphy, Jon Robin Baitz and Joe Baken. The cast includes Joshua Jackson, Don Johnson, Phillipa Soo and Sean Teale. Guest stars include Shania Twain, John Stamos, Gina Gershon, Kelsea Ballerini, Chord Overstreet, Cheyenne Jackson, Laura Harrier, Stephanie Suganami and Justin Jedlica. The show premiered on September 26, 2024 on ABC.

Ming-Na Wen Joins Sony's New KARATE KID Movie

"The Mandalorian" and "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." actress Ming-Na Wen has signed on to star in the upcoming "Karate Kid" movie from Sony Pictures. The film will be directed by Jonathan Entwistle ("The End of the F***ing World") from a script by Rob Lieber ("Peter Rabbit").

Plot details are being kept under wraps, but that cast also includes Ben Wang in the lead role, alongside Jackie Chan and Ralph Macchio who will reprise their characters from previous installments in the franchise, which means we're getting a Karate Kid Cinematic Universe. Joshua Jackson and Sadie Stanley also star.

The film will open in theaters on December 13, 2024. Karen Rosenfelt ("The New Mutants", "Twilight") is on board to produce.

Ming-Na Wen is next set to star in "Peachville" alongside Paul Giamatti and Simon Pegg.

"Dr. Death" is a crime drama miniseries created by Patrick Macmanus based on the Wondery podcast of the same name. The series tells the true story of Dr. Christopher Duntsch (Joshua Jackson), a Dallas surgeon who left more than 30 patients dead or permanently injured until two doctors (Alec Baldwin and Christian Slater) and an Assistant District Attorney (AnnaSophia Robb) set out to stop him.

The limited series was released on July 15, 2021 on Peacock.
