The second season of the darkly comic mystery thriller series "The Flight Attendant" has premiered on April 21, 2022 on HBO Max. The new season finds Cassie (Kaley Cuoco) in Los Angeles working flights with a side gig with the CIA. However, she soon finds herself a witness to a new murder. The cast also includes Zosia Mamet, T.R. Knight, Rosie Perez, Griffin Matthews, Yasha Jackson, Audrey Grace Marshall and Deniz Akdeniz.

Kaley Cuoco in Talks to Star in Action Thriller ROLE PLAY

"The Flight Attendant" star Kaley Cuoco is in negotiations to star in and produce Studiocanal and The Picture Company's stylish action thriller "Role Play", which has been described as being "franchise-able".

The film tells the story of a young married couple whose life turns upside down after secrets are revealed about about each other's past. The screenplay is penned by Seth Owen, who also wrote the 2015 sci-fi thriller "Morgan" produced by Ridley Scott.

The search for a helmer is underway. Production is expected to begin in 2022, after Cuoco wraps Season 2 of "Flight Attendant".

Cuoco is also set to star in the romantic comedy "Meet Cute" opposite Pete Davidson, and can next be seen in the comedy "The Man from Toronto" which also stars Kevin Hart and Woody Harrelson.

She is also set to star in the biopic "Doris Day: Her Own Story". HBO Max additionally ordered a third season of the animated series "Harley Quinn", in which Cuoco voices the titular character.

Kaley Cuoco To Play Doris Day In Warner Bros TV Limited Series

"The Flight Attendant" actress Kaley Cuoco is set to star as legendary actress Doris Day in an upcoming limited series from Warner Bros. Television. Cuoco’s Yes, Norman Productions and WB Television are teaming with Berlanti Production again after their successful collaboration on "The Flight Attendant".

The series is based on A.E. Hotchner's 1976 biography "Doris Day: Her Own Story", which featured a series of interviews with the Oscar nominated actress, singer and animal rights activist. Day is famous for films like "Calamity Jane", Alfred Hitchcock's "The Man Who Knew Too Much", "The Pajama Game" and "Pillow Talk". Like Day, Cuoco is also a champion and supporter of animal welfare causes.

The "Doris Day" project is the latest in Cuoco's overall Yes, Norman exclusive deal to develop new original programming with Warner Bros. Television Group. She extended her collaboration with the studio by signing a new, exclusive multiyear overall agreement in 2019.

Consulting producers are Jim Pierson, who worked with Day, and Tim Hotchner, her biographer's son.

Meanwhile, Cuoco is set to star in the second season of "The Flight Attendant". The role already earned her Golden Globe and SAG nominations. Her voice will also be featured in the third season of the animated series "Harley Quinn".
