ACCIDENTAL LOVE Trailer, Images and Poster

Opening today in theaters is the romantic comedy "Accidental Love", and we have a trailer, a batch of images and a poster. Jessica Biel stars as a small town waitress who accidentally ends up with a nail in her head which causes erratic behavior that leads her to Washington, D.C., where she falls in love with a young senator (Jake Gyllenhaal) who takes up her cause.

Ironically, much like the title, the film itself is an accident. It could have easily been titled Accidental Filmmaking. Filming began in 2008 with David O. Russell directing based on Kristin Gore's (daughter of Al Gore) satirical novel. Gore also co-wrote the screenplay. Several problems caused the film to be delayed or shut down four times over the course of one year. In 2009, the unfinished film was shelved. In 2010, David O. Russell quit the film, and the missing scenes were re-shot without his involvement. Later on he was credited with the pseudonym Stephen Greene. Now, five years later, a finished version of the film is getting a limited release in theaters after being previously released on VOD on February 10th.

It's a shame too, because the film had a great cast, one of those special David O. Russell ensembles that end up being amazing on-screen. Just check out who else was in this movie: Catherine Keener, Beverly D'Angelo, James Marsden, Bill Hader, Kirstie Alley, Tracy Morgan, Kurt Fuller, Paul Reubens and James Brolin.
