Wildwood Movie Trailer

Today we have new trailers for:
  • The upccoming stop-motion fantasy film "Wildwood" from LAIKA and director Travis Knight ("Kubo and the Two Strings", "Bumblebee") based on the bestselling children's novel of the same name by Colin Meloy and Carson Ellis. The studio has just released a teaser trailer for the movie, which features an all-star voice cast that includes Peyton Elizabeth Lee, Jacob Tremblay, Carey Mulligan, Richard E. Grant, Awkwafina, Amandla Stenberg, Tom Waits, Charlie Day, Blythe Danner, Arthur Knight, Maya Erskine, Jake Johnson, Tantoo Cardinal, Rob Delaney, Jemaine Clement, Marc Evan Jackson, Len Cariou, Ólafur Darri Ólafsson, Angela Bassett and Mahershala Ali.
  • The horror film "Backrooms" based on the creepypasta shorts by Kane Parsons, who also directs the film. The cast includes Chiwetel Ejiofor and Renate Reinsve.
  • Netflix's comedy "72 Hours" directed by Tim Story ("Ride Along") and starring Kevin Hart, Marcello Hernández, Mason Gooding, Kam Patterson, Ben Marshall, Zach Cherry, Michael Mando, Mike Epps, and Teyana Taylor.
  • The crime thriller "The Rivals of Amziah King" written and directed by Andrew Patterson ("The Vast of Night"). The film stars Matthew McConaughey, Angelina LookingGlass, Scott Shepherd, Rob Morgan, Tony Revolori and Kurt Russell.
  • The Scottish dark comedy "The Fall of Sir Douglas Weatherford" starring Peter Mullan ("Ozark", "I Swear").
  • The Sundance-winning drama "Ha-Chan, Shake Your Booty!" from writer/director Josef Kubota Wladyka ("Catch The Fair One") The film stars Rinko Kikuchi and Alberto Guerra.

"Missing Link" is a new stop-motion animated film from Laika, the company that brought us "Coraline, ParaNorman, The Boxtrolls" and "Kubo and the Two Strings". Written and directed by Chris Butler, the film tells the story of Mr. Link (Zach Galifianakis), a funny, sweet, and adorably literal Sasquatch, who requests the help of English explorer Sir Lionel Frost (Hugh Jackman) in finding his relatives.

The cast also features the voices of Zoe Saldana, Stephen Fry, Timothy Olyphant, Emma Thompson, Amrita Acharia and Matt Lucas.

"Missing Link" opened in theaters on April 12, 2019 and received mostly positive reviews from critics.
