"Summerland" is a British drama written and directed by Jessica Swale. The film stars Gemma Arterton as a reclusive writer who opens her heart to a young London evacuee (Lucas Bond) after initially resolving to be rid of him. Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Penelope Wilton and Tom Courtenay co-star.
