Venice Film Festival 2023 Winners - The Complete List

The winners of the 80th Venice International Film Festival have been revealed. The jury led by Damien Chazelle picked Yorgos Lanthimo's "Poor Things" starring Emma Stone as the winner of the Golden Lion for Best Film. Matteo Garrone won the best director award for his migration drama "Me Captain". Cailee Spaeny won best actress for her portrayal of Priscilla Presley in Sofia Coppola's "Priscilla", while Peter Sarsgaard won best actor for Michel Franco's "Memory", playing a man suffering from dementia. Polish director Agnieszka Holland won a special jury award for "Green Border".

TALE OF TALES Trailer, Clips, Images and Posters

Today we have the official trailer, clips, images and posters for Matteo Garrone's fantasy film "Tale of Tales" ("Il Racconto Dei Racconti").

The film is a portmanteau collection of fairy tales based on the works of Giambattista Basile, focusing on three stories: the bitter quest of the Queen of Longtrellis, two mysterious sisters who provoke the passion of a king, and the King of Highhills who is obsessed with a giant Flea.

The cast features Salma Hayek, Vincent Cassel, John C. Reilly, Stacy Martin, Toby Jones, Shirley Henderson, Bebe Cave and Christian Lees.

"Tale of Tales" begins a limited release in theaters today.
