In Theaters: THE LEGEND OF TARZAN, THE PURGE: ELECTION YEAR, THE BFG, OUR KIND OF TRAITOR

This week in theaters, we have a strange assortment of movies. Moviegoers will get to choose between an epic CGI adventure ("The Legend of Tarzan"), a horror film ("The Purge: Election Year"), and a children's film ("The BFG"). In the low key entertainment section we have the John le Carré adaptation "Our Kind of Traitor" which just opened in limited release. More about each movie after the jump.

7 New Clips for OUR KIND OF TRAITOR

"Our Kind of Traitor" is a spy thriller based on "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy" author John le Carré's 22nd novel published in 2010. And it's a pretty damn good adaptation, too, according to critics. It's not as definitively perfect as "TTSS", for example, but it is well written and features great performances from a talented cast. The film is now in limited release in the U.S. and Canada.

Directed by Susanna White ("Parade's End") from a script by Hossein Amini ("Drive"), the film stars Ewan McGregor, Naomie Harris, Damian Lewis, Stellan Skarsgård, Mark Gatiss, Jeremy Northam and Saskia Reeves.

OUR KIND OF TRAITOR Trailer, Clip, Images and Posters

Roadside Attractions has released the official trailer, a clip, and a bunch of images and posters for the espionage thriller "Our Kind of Traitor".

Based on the book by "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy" author John le Carré, the film stars Ewan McGregor and Naomie Harris as a couple who encounter a kingpin money launderer for the Russian mafia (Stellan Skarsgård) while on vacation in Marrakech, and end up involved in a dangerous world of international espionage and dirty politics when the mysterious man asks for their help to deliver classified information to the British Secret Services.

Directed by Susanna White ("Parade's End") from a script by Hossein Amini ("Drive"), the film also stars Damian Lewis, Mark Gatiss, Jeremy Northam and Saskia Reeves.

"Our Kind of Traitor" opens in theaters on July 1st.
