"Gretel & Hansel" is a fantasy horror film directed by Oz Perkins ("I Am the Pretty Thing That Lives in the House") from a script by Rob Hayes ("Chewing Gum") based on the German folklore tale by The Brothers Grimm.

The story is set a long time ago in a distant fairy tale countryside and focuses on a young girl (Sophia Lillis) who leads her little brother (Sam Leakey) into a dark wood in desperate search of food and work, only to end up kidnapped by an evil witch (Alice Krige).

"Gretel & Hansel" opened in theaters on January 31, 2020.

THE BLACKCOAT'S DAUGHTER (FEBRUARY) Trailer, Clips, Images and Poster

The horror film "The Blackcoat's Daughter" (originally titled "February") is the directorial debut of writer/director Oz Perkins ("I Am the Pretty Thing That Lives in the House"). The film was completed and premiered at the Toronto Film Festival in 2015, but its U.S. release was pushed back several times.

The film tells the story of two girls, played by Kiernan Shipka and Lucy Boynton, who get left behind at their boarding school over winter break when their parents mysteriously fail to pick them up, and begin to experience increasingly strange and creepy occurrences, while another girl (Emma Roberts) is determined to get to Bramford as fast as she can. Lauren Holly and James Remar also star.

"The Blackcoat's Daughter" opened in theaters on March 31st 2017 and received generally positive reviews.

THE BLACKCOAT'S DAUGHTER Trailer and Poster

A24 has released the first official trailer and poster for the horror film "The Blackcoat's Daughter" (also know as "February"). Written and directed by Oz Perkins ("I Am the Pretty Thing That Lives in the House"), the film stars Lucy Boynton and Kiernan Shipka as two girls left alone at their prep school over winter break when their parents mysteriously fail to pick them up. As the girls begin to experience strange events, a third young woman (Emma Roberts) is on her way to the school, and her arrival will set the stage for a shocking and unforgettable climax. Lauren Holly and James Remar co-star.

"The Blackcoat's Daughter" will debut exclusively on DirectTV on February 16th and in theaters on March 31st.
