Weekend Box-Office: GRAN TURISMO Wins the Race With $17.3M Debut

National Cinema Day, a celebration of moviegoing during which all tickets at participating locations are $4 (including IMAX and 3D), helped boost this weekend's box-office results. This Sunday was the highest-grossing day with $34.3 million, ahead of Saturday's $28.6 million and Friday's $27.5 million. "Gran Turismo" topped the charts, but is still in a close race against "Barbie" for the top spot.

RETRIBUTION (2023) - Trailer, Clips, Images and Poster

"Retribution" is an action thriller directed by Nimrod Antal ("Predators", "Armored", "Metallica Through the Never") from a script by Chris Salmanpour based on the 2015 Spanish film "El desconocido". The cast includes Liam Neeson, Noma Dumezweni, Lilly Aspell, Jack Champion, Embeth Davidtz and Matthew Modine. The film opened in theaters on August 25, 2023.
