Red Sonja 2025 Movie Trailer Images And Poster

"Red Sonja" is a fantasy action film directed by M.J. Bassett ("Solomon Kane") from a script by Tasha Huo ("Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft"). It is based on the character created by Robert E. Howard that first appeared on the big screen in the 1985 film of the same name starring Brigitte Nielsen.

The 2025 film stars Matilda Lutz, Wallis Day, Robert Sheehan, Michael Bisping, Martyn Ford, Eliza Matengu, Rhona Mitra and Veronica Ferres. The film opened in select theaters on August 13, 2025 and was released on streaming platforms on August 29th.

"The Umbrella Academy" is a new series created by Jeremy Slater ("The Exorcist" series) and developed by Steve Blackman, based on the Dark Horse comics and graphic novels by Gerard Way of "My Chemical Romance" fame.

The show follows a dysfunctional family of superheroes who are brought back together by the death of their adoptive father (Colm Feore). The cast also includes Ellen Page, Tom Hopper, David Castaneda, Emmy Raver Lampman, Robert Sheehan, Aidan Gallagher, Mary J. Blige and Cameron Britton.

The first season of "The Umbrella Academy" premiered on Netflix on Februray 15, 2019 and received mostly mixed-to-positive reviews from critics.

"Mortal Engines" is a post-apocalyptic adventure film directed by Christian Rivers, who won an Oscar for his visual effects work on "King Kong" and is making his directorial debut, from a script by Fran Walsh, Philippa Boyens and Peter Jackson, based on the novel of the same name written by Philip Reeve.

The story is set in a post-apocalyptic world where cities have been motorised, travel on wheels and consume each other to survive. A mysterious young woman, Hester Shaw (Hera Hilmar) joins forces with outcasts Tom Natsworthy (Robert Sheehan) and Anna Fang (Jihae) to stop London, which has become a giant predator city, from devouring everything in its path. Hugo Weaving, Leila George, Ronan Raftery and Stephen Lang co-star.

"Mortal Engines" opened in theaters on December 6, 2018 in Australia and New Zealand, and on December 14, 2018 in the U.S. The film has received mixed reviews from critics.

Directed by Dean Devlin ("Geostorm") based on a script written by Brandon Boyce ("Apt Pupil", "Wicker Park"), the thriller "Bad Samaritan" stars Robert Sheehan as a valet who burglarizes the houses of a restaurant's rich clientele. His criminal career hits a speed bump when he breaks into the house of a customer (David Tennant) who also happens to be a sadistic serial killer who is now seeking revenge.

The film also stars Carlito Olivero, Kerry Condon, Jacqueline Byers, Lisa Brenner and Tracey Heggins.

"Bad Samaritan" opened in theaters on May 4, 2018 and received mixed reviews from critics. The film disappointed at the box-office, opening with just $1.8 million from 2,007 theaters, making it the eighth worst opening for a wide release ever.

"Genius: Picasso" is the second season of National Geographic's anthology series "Genius", executive-produced by Ron Howard, that focuses on history's greatest minds. The first season chronicled the life of Albert Einstein, and the second will follow the 20th century's most influential and celebrated artists, Pablo Picasso, played by Antonio Banderas. Alex Rich, Clémence Poésy, Samantha Colley, Poppy Delevingne, Robert Sheehan and Jordi Molla co-star.

The series has been renewed for a third season that will follow the life of "Frankenstein" author Mary Shelley.

"Genius: Picasso" will premiere on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 on Nat Geo at 9p.
