Rupert Grint, Daisy Ridley, Sam Claflin And Charlie Murphy Join EBENEZER: CHRISTMAS CAROL Starring Johnny Depp

Rupert Grint ("Servant"), Daisy Ridley" ("Star Wars"), Sam Claflin ("The Hunger Games: Catching Fire"), Charlie Murphy ("Peaky Blinders"), Arthur Conti ("Beetlejuice Beetlejuice") and Ellie Bamber ("Nocturnal Animals") have joined the cast of Paramount's upcoming holiday film "Ebenezer: A Christmas Carol". The release date has been set for November 13, 2026.

The film is directed by Ti West ("X", "Pearl", "MaXXXine") from a script by Nathaniel Halpern ("Tales from the Loop", "Legion") based on Charles Dickens's classic novella. Johnny Depp stars in the lead role. The cast also includes Andrea Riseborough, Ian McKellen and Tramell Tillman

"Ebenezer: A Christmas Carol" is a ghost story set in Dickens' London, and it follows one man's supernatural journey to face his past, present and future and fight for a second chance. According to sources, Grint will play Bob Cratchit, Scrooge's loyal clerk and father of Tiny Tim. No other details about the other cast members are available at this time.

Emma Watts, Stephen Deuters, Jason Forman, Adam Bohling and David Reid are executive producing.

There is a second "Christmas Carol" movie in the works at Warner Bros, which will be directed by "The Witch" and "Nosferatu" helmer Robert Eggers, and Willem Dafoe will play Scrooge.

Depp's next project is the Lionsgate action thriller "Day Drinker", in which he will star alongside Penelope Cruz. The film will be released in 2026.

The show follows parents Dorothy (Lauren Ambrose) and Sean Turner (Toby Kebbell) who hire a nanny (Nell Tiger Free) to help care for a lifelike baby doll after the loss of their own child. The cast also includes Rupert Grint and Tony Revolori.

"Servant" premiered on Apple TV+ on November 28, 2019. It has already been renewed for a second season.

"The ABC Murders" is a new miniseries based on Agatha Christie's novel of the same name. John Malkovich stars as famous detective Hercule Poirot, who is faced with a serial killer known as A.B.C. The series is directed by Alex Gabassi ("The Frankenstein Chronicles") from a script by Sarah Phelps ("Ordeal by Innocence"). The cast also includes Rupert Grint, Andrew Buchanan, Eamon Farren, Shirley Henderson, Tara Fitzgerald, Freya Mavor and Kevin McNally.

"The ABC Murders" premiered on BBC One in the U.K. on December 26, 2018, and in the U.S. via Amazon Prime Video.

The second season of the crime comedy series "Snatch" has premiered on September 13, 2018 via Sony's Crackle. Created by Alex De Rakoff based on the 2000 film of the same name directed by Guy Ritchie, the film follows a group of up-and-coming hustlers who find themselves thrust into the high-stakes world of organized crime. In the new season, the gang end up in the fictional Spanish coastal town of San Toledo where they get into trouble with the local crime boss.

The cast features Luke Pasqualino, Rupert Grint, Lucien Laviscount, Phoebe Dynevor, Juliet Aubrey, Marc Warren, Stephanie Leonidas, Tamer Hassan and Dougray Scott.
