MALEFICENT (2014) - 4 New Movie Clips

Four new movie clips have been released for Disney's fantasy film "Maleficent" (via Collider). Angelina Jolie stars as the villain of "Sleeping Beauty" in this epic reimagining of the classic story. The film also stars Elle Fanning, Sharlto Copley, Sam Riley, Imelda Staunton, Miranda Richardson, Juno Temple, Brenton Thwaites and Lesley Manville.

MALEFICENT (2014) - First Movie Clip

Disney has released the first clip for their fantasy film "Maleficent". Angelina Jolie looks to relish playing the evil character and the clip is pretty much an identical reenacting of the original scene from "Sleeping Beauty". The film also stars Elle Fanning, Sharlto Copley, Sam Riley, Imelda Staunton, Miranda Richardson, Juno Temple and Lesley Manville.

Today we have two new featurettes and six posters for Disney's "Maleficent". One of the featurettes offers more information about the character and her story, while the other is a quick look at the creatures featured in the movie. The posters include an IMAX one-sheet and five character posters. The film stars Angelina Jolie, Elle Fanning, Sharlto Copley, Sam Riley, Imelda Staunton, Miranda Richardson, Juno Temple and Lesley Manville.

A new featurette and 15 images have been released for Disney's "Maleficent". The featurette includes interviews with star Angelina Jolie, Elle Fanning, screenwriter Linda Woolverton and director Robert Stromberg. Woolverton is responsible for the scripts to Disney's classic animated films "The Lion King" and "Beauty and the Beast", while Stromberg is the two-time Oscar winning art director of "Avatar" and "Alice in Wonderland". The film also stars Sharlto Copley, Sam Riley, Imelda Staunton, Miranda Richardson, Juno Temple and Lesley Manville.

A new trailer, images and banner poster have been released for Disney's "Maleficent". Starring Angelina Jolie as Maleficent, the villain from the 1959 animated feature "Sleeping Beauty", the film presents itself as an origin story, and a reimaining of Disney's classic film. The new trailer adds a few new details about Maleficent's backstory, with special attention given to the fact that she used to have wings (also in the banner poster) and plenty of CGI-heavy action sequences. The film also stars Elle Fanning, Sharlto Copley, Sam Riley, Imelda Staunton, Miranda Richardson, Juno Temple and Lesley Manville.

5 New Images for MALEFICENT Starring Angelina Jolie

Five new images have been released for Disney's fantasy spin-off "Maleficent". The film stars Angelina Jolie as Maleficent, the villain from the 1959 animated feature "Sleeping Beauty". The actress recently spoke to Entertainment Weekly about the challenges of making a movie from the perspective of the famous villain:

"The exercise wasn’t how can we have fun with a villain?” Jolie says. “It was: What turns people evil and vile and aggressive and cruel? What could have possibly happened to her?

When that character makes mistakes — which Maleficent does, and crosses many lines — you want them to be angry at her and concerned and confused and in the end, somehow understand something that they didn’t know before,

We think it’s fun for our kids to have cameos and join us on set, but not to be actors. That’s not our goal for Brad and I at all,” Jolie says. “But the other 3- and 4-year-old [performers] wouldn’t come near me. It had to be a child that liked me and wasn’t afraid of my horns and my eyes and my claws. So it had to be Viv."

The film also stars Elle Fanning, Sharlto Copley, Sam Riley, Imelda Staunton, Miranda Richardson, Juno Temple and Lesley Manville.

New Trailer for MALEFICENT Featuring Lana Del Rey's Song "Once Upon a Dream"

Disney released a new trailer for the "Sleeping Beauty" spin-off "Maleficent", starring Angelina Jolie as the wicked villain and protagonist of this new prequel of sorts. The trailer offers more of the amazing visuals and it also serves as a preview for Lana Del Rey's song "Once Upon A Dream" featured on the film's soundtrack. The song is a reimagining of the renowned fairy-tale tune from Disney's 1959 animated film "Sleeping Beauty" and it will be featured in the end credits of "Maleficent". The film also stars Elle Fanning, Sharlto Copley, Sam Riley, Imelda Staunton, Miranda Richardson, Juno Temple and Lesley Manville.

Angelina Jolie stars as Maleficent, who is now a beautiful, pure-hearted young woman, who must oppose an invading army which threatens the harmony of the land. But, she ultimately suffers a ruthless betrayal, an act that begins to turn her pure heart to stone. The cast also features Elle Fanning, Sharlto Copley, Sam Riley, Imelda Staunton, Miranda Richardson, Juno Temple and Lesley Manville.

MALEFICENT Trailer & Poster - Angelina Jolie

The teaser trailer and poster for Disney's "Maleficent" have been released. The film explores the story of "Sleeping Beauty" from the villain's perspective and looks at the events that hardened her heart and drove her to curse young Princess Aurora. Angelina Jolie stars as Maleficent, the malevolent fairy, and her costume design looks exactly like the one from Disney's 1959 animation classic. Of course, there will be lots of CGI involved, but the visuals look great thanks to director Robert Stromberg who previously worked as production designer on "Alice in Wonderland", "Oz the Great and Powerful" and "Avatar"

The film also stars Elle Fanning, Sharlto Copley, Sam Riley, Imelda Staunton, Miranda Richardson, Juno Temple and Lesley Manville.
