"Cruel Intentions" is a new drama series based on the 1999 film of the same name by Roger Kumble, which in turn was an adaptation of Pierre Choderlos de Laclos' 1782 novel "Les Liaisons Dangereuses". The cast includes Sarah Catherine Hook, Zac Burgess, Sara Silva, John Harlan Kim, Khobe Clarke, Sean Patrick Thomas, Brooke Lena Johnson, Laura Benanti, Jon Tenney and Claire Forlani. The series premiered on November 21, 2024 on Amazon Prime Video.

The critics are praising it as one of the rare sequels that lives up to the legacy of the original and finds new relevance fourteen years after the original hit theaters.
