Product Description: 1916. As war rages on the Western Front, the Choral Society in Ramsden, Yorkshire has lost most of its men to the army. The Choral's ambitious committee, determined to press ahead, decides to recruit local young males to swell their ranks. They must also engage a new chorus master, and despite their suspicions that he has something to hide, their best bet seems to be Dr. Henry Guthrie (Ralph Fiennes) -- driven, uncompromising, and recently returned from a career in Germany. As conscription papers start to arrive, the whole community discovers that the best response to the chaos that is laying waste to their lives is to make music together.

DOUGLAS IS CANCELLED Miniseries Trailer, Images and Poster

"Douglas Is Cancelled" is a British dramedy limited series created and written by Steven Moffat ("Doctor Who", "Sherlock"). The cast includes Hugh Bonneville, Karen Gillan, Alex Kingston, Nick Mohammed, Simon Russell Beale and Ben Miles. The miniseries premiered on June 27, 2024 on ITV1 in the UK, and on March 6, 2025 on Britbox.

Paul Giamatti, Joely Richardson, Alessandro Nivola & Simon Russell Beale to Star in DOWNTON ABBEY 3

Focus Features and Carnival Films have announced that a third "Downton Abbey" movie is in the works. The new installment is written by series creator Julian Fellowes, and "Downton Abbey: A New Era" helmer Simon Curtis will return to direct.

The cast will include returning franchise veterans Hugh Bonneville, Elizabeth McGovern, Michelle Dockery, Laura Carmichael, Jim Carter, Phyllis Logan, Robert James-Collier, Joanne Froggatt, Allen Leech, Penelope Wilton, Lesley Nicol, Michael Fox, Raquel Cassidy, Brendan Coyle, Kevin Doyle, Harry Hadden-Paton, Sophie McShera and Douglas Reith, alongside newcomers Paul Giamatti, Joely Richardson, Alessandro Nivola, Simon Russell Beale and Arty Froushan

Giamatti is reprising his role as Cora Grantham's brother Harold Levinson. Dominic West will also reprise his role as Guy Dexter from "Downton Abbey: A New Era". No word yet on who Richardson, Nivola, Beale and Froushan will portray, and no plot details have been revealed.

Fellowes will also produce alongside Gareth Neame and Liz Trubridge. The film is a Carnival Films production, with Focus Features and Universal Pictures International distributing. Carnival Films is part of NBCUniversal International Studios, a division of Universal Studio Group.
