THE CLEANSE Trailer, Clips, Images and Posters

A mix of satire and creature feature, the fantasy dramedy "The Cleanse" stars Johnny Galecki ("Big Bang Theory") as an unemployed, down and out, heartbroken man searching for happiness who joins a spiritual retreat where he discovers that their special recipe for cleansing is releasing more than just everyday toxins.

Written and directed by Bobby Miller, the film also stars Anna Friel, Kevin J. O'Connor, Kyle Gallner, Anjelica Huston and Oliver Platt.

"The Cleanse" premiered at the South by Southwest film festival in 2016 and was finally released in select theaters, as well as on VOD and digital on May 4, 2018. It received mixed reviews from critics.

In Theaters: TULLY, OVERBOARD, BAD SAMARITAN and THE CLEANSE

This week in theaters we have the dramedy "Tully" starring Charlize Theron and Mackenzie Davis, which reteams "Juno" director Jason Reitman and writer Diablo Cody.

Another new release is the comedy "Overboard" starring Anna Faris and Eugenio Derbez, a remake of the 1987 comedy of the same name that starred Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn.

And from Electric Entertainment we have the drama "Bad Samaritan" directed by Dean Devlin ("Geostorm") and starring David Tennant.

In limited release it might be worth checking out the trippy horror comedy "The Cleanse" starring Johnny Galecki, Anna Friel and Anjelica Huston.
