"The Instigators" is a heist comedy directed by Doug Liman ("The Bourne Identity") from a script by Chuck Maclean and Casey Affleck. The cast includes Matt Damon, Casey Affleeck, Hong Chau, Michael Stuhlbarg, Paul Walter Hauser, Ving Rhames, Alfred Molina, Toby Jones, Jack Harlow and Ron Perlman. The film opened in select theaters and made its streaming debut on Apple TV+ on August 9, 2024.

Today we have new trailers for:

• The comedy "Space Cadet" starring Emma Roberts, Tom Hopper, Poppy Liu, Gabrielle Union and Dave Foley.
• The heist action comedy "The Instigators" starring Matt Damon and Casey Affleck. The film is directed by Doug Liman ("The Bourne Identity").
• "Paddington in Peru", the third installment in the family-friendly series based on the classic children's book series by British author Michael Bond. The film is directed by British commercial and music video helmer Dougal Wilson in his feature directorial debut, and the cast includes Ben Whishaw, Hugh Bonneville, Emily Mortimer, Madeleine Harris, Samuel Joslin, Julie Walters, Jim Broadbent, Olivia Colman, Antonio Banderas and Imelda Staunton.
• The Hindi action-thriller "Kill" starring Lakshya, Raghav Juyal, Tanya Maniktala, Hars Chhaya and Ashish Vidyarthi. The film features stunts from Korean stuntman Se-yeong Oh ("Snowpiercer") and Indian stunt director Parvez Shaikh. Nikhil Nagesh Bhat writes and directs.
• The action comedy sequel "My Spy: The Eternal City" starring Dave Bautista and Chloe Coleman.
• The Irish hip-hop comedy "Kneecap" that dramatizes the origins of the titular Belfast rap group

Matt Damon and Casey Affleck to Star in Doug Liman's THE INSTIGATORS

Matt Damon and Casey Affleck have signed on to star in the upcoming Apple Studios movie "The Instigators" directed by Doug Liman ("The Bourne Identity"). The script was written by Chuck Maclean ("City on a Hill"), and the film developed by Jeff Robinov and John Graham for Studio 8.

Damon and Affleck will play two thieves on the run with the help of one of their therapists after a robbery goes wrong. Damon, Ben Affleck, Robinov, Graham and Kevin Walsh will produce the drama. Damon and Affleck are frequent collaborators and previously appeared together in "Good Will Hunting" and all three "Ocean's Eleven" movies. They also worked together with Walsh on "Manchester By The Sea".

Both actors are also set to play supporting roles in Christopher Nolan's highly anticipated biopic "Oppenheimer". Damon will play Leslie Groves, head of the Manhattan Project, while Affleck's role is currently under wraps. Damon is also attached to star in an untitled biopic about the life of former Nike executive Sonny Vaccaro, with Ben Affleck co-starring and directing, while Casey Affleck will star in "Slingshot", a sci-fi thriller from director Mikael Hafstrom.
