"The Love That Remains" ("Astin Sem Eftir Er") is an Icelandic dramedy written and directed by Hlynur Pálmason ("Godland", "A White, White Day"). The cast features Saga Garðarsdóttir, Sverrir Gudnason, Ída Mekkín Hlynsdóttir, Þorgils Hlynsson, and Grímur Hlynsson.

The film premiered at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, where the lead canine actor Panda won the Palm Dog Award. It was Iceland's official entry for Best International Feature Film at the 98th Academy Awards, but failed to secure a nomination. "The Love That Remains" was released in select theaters in the US on January 30, 2026, and via streaming on April 14th.
