Morgan Spector and Rebecca Hall to Star in Netflix Adaptation of Dan Brown's THE SECRET OF SECRETS

Morgan Spector and Rebecca Hall to Star in Netflix Adaptation of Dan Brown's THE SECRET OF SECRETS
Morgan Spector ("The Gilded Age") and Rebecca Hall ("The Town") are in talks to join Netflix's upcoming series based on Dan Brown's latest novel "The Secret of Secrets". Spector is in talks to join the cast as Professor Robert Langdon, while Hall is in talks for the female lead.

The plot follows symbologist Robert Langdon (Spector) racing against ancient forces and time to rescue his girlfriend, missing scientist Katherine Solomon (Hall), and her groundbreaking manuscript whose discoveries have the power to forever change humanity's understanding of the mind.

Dan Brown and Carlton Cuse ("Bates Motel", "Lost") are co-creators and executive producers, with Cuse serving as writer and showrunner. Emma Forman of Cuse's Genre-Arts also executive produces. Filming will begin this fall in Prague.

Published in September 2025, "The Secrets of Secrets" is the sixth book in Brown's Robert Langdon series, which includes "Angels & Demons" (2000), "The Da Vinci Code" (2003), "The Lost Symbol" (2009), "Inferno" (2013) and "Origin" (2017). Brown's novels have sold over 250 million copies worldwide.

Three of the books have been adapted for the big screen. 2006's "The Da Vinci Code", 2009's "Angels & Demons" and 2016's "Inferno" were directed by Ron Howard and starred Tom Hanks in the lead role. All three films grossed over $2 billion worldwide. "The Lost Symbol" was adapted as a Peacock TV series starring Ashley Zukerman as a young Robert Langdon, but was cancelled after one season.

Spector and Hall, who are husband and wife in real life, have previously starred together in "Christine", "Permission", and the Broadway revival of "Machinal".
