The film stumbled in its opening weekend and will probably end up losing Warner Bros a lot of money. Meanwhile, "Toy Story 5" is still the top movie at the box office despite a considerable drop, while "Jackass: Best and Last", the fifth and supposedly final installment in the series, scored a franchise-low debut.

Pixar's "Toy Story 5" dominated its second weekend in theaters with $70.8 million, which is a somewhat steeper than expected 55.6% drop from its massive debut. The film has now grossed a total of $298 million in North America and $287.8 million from foreign markets. That's a worldwide total of $585.8 million in its first 10 days in theaters.
"Supergirl" opened in second place with $37.1 million from 3,602 theaters, which is terrible for a movie that cost around $186 million to produce. The opening is on par with "Joker: Folie à Deux", which opened with $36.6 million and finished its domestic theatrical run with $58.3 million. Overseas, "Supergirl" adds another $25.5 million for a catastrophic $62.6 million worldwide total. At least the "Joker" sequel scored bigger numbers overseas, ending up with a total of $149.2 million from foreign markets and $207.5 million worldwide. "Supergirl" might not actually reach the $200 million global mark, especially since both the critical and audience reception are mixed-to-negative (54% on Rotten Tomatoes and "B-" CinemaScore).
The horror film "Obsession" is holding in third place, adding another $9.7 million in its seventh weekend. The film dropped only 27.6%, which is remarkable at this point. The domestic tally is now at $233.8 million, while overseas it raked in $137.3 million, which adds up to $371.1 million worldwide.
The other new wide release "Jackass: Best and Last" opened in fourth place with $8.4 million from 2,855 theaters. This is the franchise's worst opening. "Jackass: The Movie" opened in 2002 with $22.7 million, the first sequel, "Jackass: Number Two" opened in 2006 with $29 million, 2010's "Jackass 3D" made its debut with $50.3 million, and 2022's "Jackass Forever" scored a $23.1 million debut. Overseas, "Jackass: Best and Last" only raked in $1.9 million. The film cost around $10 million to produce. On a positive note, both the critics and moviegoers enjoyed the film (88% on Rotten Tomatoes and "A-" CinemaScore).
The Top 5 is rounded out by Steven Spielberg's "Disclosure Day" with $8.2 million, down 53.4% in its third weekend. The film has now grossed a total of $94.5 million domestically and $100.4 million internationally. The worldwide total is now at $195 million against a $115 million budget.
The special compilation movie "BLEACH : Thousand-Year Blood War - The Calamity" was released by Fathom Entertainment and finished in eighth place with $3 million from 943 theaters.
