"Cherish the Day" is a new romantic drama anthology series created and produced by Ava DuVernay ("When They See Us", "Queen Sugar"). The show chronicles the relationship of one couple, with each episode focusing on a single day marking a significant moment, while the entire season spans five years. Next season will focus on a different couple. The cast features Xosha Roquemore, Alano Miller and Cicely Tyson.

"Cherish the Day" has premiered on February 11, 2020 on Oprah Winfrey Network.

"When They See Us" is a miniseries co-written and directed by Ava DuVernay ("Selma"). The series is based on the real-life 1989 case which involved the wrongful conviction of five teenagers from Harlem (four African-American and one Hispanic) accused of attacking and raping a jogger in Central Park, in New York City.

The ensemble cast features Asante Blackk, Caleel Harris, Ethan Herisse, Jharrel Jerome, Justin Cunningham, Jovan Adepo, Chris Chalk, Freddy Miyares, Marquis Rodriguez, Vera Farmiga, Felicity Huffman, John Leguizamo, Niecy Nash, Michael K. Williams and more.

"When They See Us" was released by Netflix on May 31, 2019 and received mostly positive reviews from critics.

"The Red Line" is a new drama series created by Caitlin Parrish and Erica Weiss and produced by Greg Berlanti ("The Flash") and Ava DuVernay ("Selma"). The show follows three Chicago families as they journey toward hope and healing after an unarmed African American doctor is shot by a white cop. The cast includes Noah Wyle, Emayatzy Corinealdi, Noel Fisher, Aliyah Royale, Michael Patrick Thornton and Vinny Chhibber.

"The Thin Red Line" premiered on April 18, 2019 on CBS and received mixed reviews from critics.

"A Wrinkle in Time" is a new Disney live-action film directed by Ava DuVernay ("Selma") from script by Jennifer Lee ("Frozen") and Jeff Stockwell ("The Ottoman Lieutenant"), based on Madeleine L'Engle's novel of the same name.

The story follows Meg Murry (Storm Reid), a middle school student whose scientist father (Chris Pine) suddenly disappears. With the help of three astral travelers, played by Reese Witherspoon, Oprah Winfrey and Mindy Kaling, Meg discovers that her father is held captive on a distant planet, and embarks on a fantastical adventure along with her younger brother (Deric McCabe) and a fellow student (Levi Miller) to free him from the universe-spanning evil that is holding him captive.

The film also stars Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Zach Galifianakis, Michael Pena, Andre Holland, Rowan Blanchard, David Oyelowo and Bellamy Young

"A Wrinkle in Time" opened in theaters on March 9, 2018. The film received mixed to negative reviews. While critics were appreciative of the film's ambition and universal themes, they disliked the muddled narrative and CGI overload. It failed to impress in its first weekend in theaters, grossing $33.3 million against a $100 million budget.

The second season of the drama series "Queen Sugar" premieres tonight on OWN at 10p. A second new episode will follow tomorrow at 10p, while the rest of the episodes will air on a weekly basis, Wednesdays at 10p.

The series focuses on three siblings, one brother (Kofi Siriboe) and two sisters (Rutina Wesley and Dawn-Lyen Gardner), who move to the heart of Louisiana to claim an inheritance from their recently departed father - an 800-acre sugarcane farm.

"Queen Sugar" was created by Ava DuVernay ("Selma") and executive-produced by Oprah Winfrey. The second season will feature 16 episodes and will once again feature an all-women roster of directors, as well as a new showrunner, Monica Macer ("Nashville", "Lost").
