babylon-anime-season-1-new-on-bluray

Product Description: Everything can be connected to something else if you dig hard enough, and when you're investigating a crime, it usually doesn't take too long before you start finding the clues you need, if you know where to look. When Public Prosecutor Zen Seizaki starts investigating a case of apparent fraud by a major pharmaceutical company, however, he quickly finds himself entangled in a nightmarish web of lies, intrigue and murder on a global scale. And even worse, how can he fight a foe without a face, one that's protected by members of the highest echelons of society and government, and seems to be able to convince its own victims to kill themselves? The nightmares of modern science are powered by old-fashioned corruption and greed, and one man may be the only force that can stop them.

Margot Robbie in Talks to Replace Emma Stone in Damien Chazelle's BABYLON
Oscar nominated actress Margot Robbie ("Bombshell", "Birds of Prey") is in early talks to replace Emma Stone, who was set to re-team with "La La Land" helmer Damien Chazelle for the period drama "Babylon".

Stone was forced to exit the film due to scheduling issues. The film is set during the transition from silent films to talkies, and will feature a mix of real-life and fictional characters.

If the deal goes through, Robbie would star as Clara Bow, the early sex symbol and box office star who was Hollywood’s first "It" girl. Brad Pitt is also set to star as a fictional character.

The film will be produced by Olivia Hamilton, Matt Plouffe, Marc Platt and Tobey Maguire. Chazelle penned a massive 180-page script for the film, and the budget is estimated between $80-100 million. The release date is set for Christmas Day 2021.

Robbie's voice can next be heard in "Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway", and she can be seen in 2021's "The Suicide Squad".

babylon-1980-new-on-dvd-and-bluray

Product Description: Franco Rosso’s incendiary Babylon had its world premiere at Cannes in 1980 but went unreleased in the U.S. for “being too controversial, and likely to incite racial tension” (Vivien Goldman, Time Out). Raw and smoldering, it follows a young reggae DJ (Brinsley Forde, frontman of landmark British group Aswad) in Thatcher-era Brixton as he pursues his musical ambitions, battling fiercely against the racism and xenophobia of employers, neighbors, police, and the National Front. Written by Martin Stellman (Quadrophenia) and shot by two-time Oscar® winner Chris Menges (The Killing Fields), Babylon is fearless and unsentimental, and set to a blistering reggae, dub, and lovers rock soundtrack featuring Aswad, Johnny Clarke, and more, anchored by legendary producer Dennis Bovell’s (The Slits) atmospheric score.
