A STAR IS BORN (2018) - Trailers, TV Spots, Clips, Featurettes, Images and Posters

The musical romantic drama "A Star is Born" is a remake of the 1937 film of the same name starring Janet Gaynor and Frederic March. Two other remakes have been made in the past, a 1954 musical nominated for 6 Academy Awards starring Judy Garland and James Mason, and a 1976 film starring Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson, which won an Academy Award for the song "Evergreen (Love Theme from A Star Is Born)".

The 2018 version is co-written and directed by Bradley Cooper, who also stars alongside Lady Gaga and Sam Elliott. Cooper stars as Jackson Maine, a seasoned musician who discovers and falls in love with a young singer and actress (Gaga). He helps her find fame, but his own career begins to break down as he battles his own inner demons. The cast also includes Dave Chappelle, Anthony Ramos and Ron Rifkin.

"A Star is Born" premiered at the 2018 Venice Film Festival and opened in theaters on August 31, 2018. The film received almost universal critical acclaim and is expected to debut with around $40 million at the box-office.

Today we have the first trailer, images and poster for Spike Lee's new film "Chi-Raq". Based on the ancient Greek play "Lysistrata" by Aristophanes, the film is set in modern day Chicago where a group of women organize against the on-going violence in Chicago's Southside creating a movement that challenges the nature of race, sex and violence in America and around the world. The cast features Samuel L. Jackson, Jennifer Hudson, Wesley Snipes, Nick Cannon, Angela Bassett, John Cusack, Teyonah Parris, D.B. Sweeney, Harry Lennix, Kevin Willmott and Dave Chappelle.

"Chi-Raq" opens in theaters on December 4th.
