Box-Office Report: RALPH BREAKS THE INTERNET Threepeat Over Slow Weekend

With no new wide releases in theaters, the weekend box-office looks pretty much the same as last week, at least as far as the Top 6 is concerned, and "Ralph Breaks the Internet" is still holding at the top of the charts.

Weekend Box-Office: RALPH BREAKS THE INTERNET And Scores Second Largest Thanksgiving Opening Ever

The box-office estimates have arrived and it looks like this year's Thanksgiving weekend did not disappoint. Disney's "Ralph Breaks the Internet" and MGM's "Creed II" lead the pack with impressive numbers, while most releases from previous weeks continued to perform well. However, Summit's much maligned "Robin Hood" broke down completely in its opening weekend.

Weekend Box-Office: FANTASTIC BEASTS Sequel Scores $253M Global Debut

As expected, Warner Bros' "Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald" topped the weekend box-office charts with impressive numbers, even though it wasn't quite the fantastic debut pundits were expecting. But "Beasts" isn't the only film that fell below expectations this weekend. Fellow new releases "Instant Family" and "Widows"  also failed to impress.

Weekend Box-Office: THE GRINCH Dominates With $66M Debut

As expected, Illumination Entertainment scored another major box-office hit with its new animated film "Dr. Seuss' The Grinch", but things didn't work out so well for the other new releases. "Overlord" and "The Girl in the Spider's Web" failed to attract audiences.
