The pulpy futuristic neo-noir action-thriller "Hotel Artemis" is written and directed by "Iron Man 3" and "Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation" scribe Drew Pearce.
The film is set in a riot-torn, near-future Los Angeles, where a woman called the Nurse (Jodie Foster) runs a secret members-only emergency room for criminals. The film also stars Dave Bautista, Sofia Boutella, Sterling K. Brown, Jeff Goldblum, Zachary Quinto, Jenny Slate, Charlie Day, Kenneth Choi and Brian Tyree Henry.
"Hotel Artemis" opened in theaters on June 8, 2018 and received mostly mixed reviews. The film's opening weekend box-office projections were initially set around $5-9 million, but after a weak $1.1 million debut on Friday, the estimation was lowered to $3 million.
