Clémence Poésy Joins Apple's NEUROMANCER Series

Clémence Poésy ("The Essex Serpent", "Genius") has joined the cast of the Apple TV+ sci-fi series "Neuromancer" based on the award-winning novel of the same name by William Gibson. The 10-episode series also stars Callum Turner and Briana Middleton.

Created by Graham Roland and JD Dillard, the show follows a damaged, top-rung super-hacker named Case (Turner) who is thrust into a web of digital espionage and high-stakes crime with his partner Molly (Middleton), a razor-girl assassin with mirrored eyes, aiming to pull a heist on a corporate dynasty with untold secrets.

Poésy will star as Marie-France Tessier. The cast also includes Mark Strong, who plays Armitage, Case and Molly's mysterious employer, and Joseph Lee who plays Hideo, a professional bodyguard.

"Neuromancer" is a co-production between Skydance Television, Anonymous Content and Apple Studios, and it's also produced by Drake's DreamCrew Entertainment. Roland will serve as showrunner and Dillard is set to direct the pilot episode.

Roland and Dillard executive produce alongside David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Matt Thunell for Skydance Television; Anonymous Content; Drake, Adel 'Future' Nur and Jason Shrier for DreamCrew Entertainment; Zack Hayden and, Gibson.

Poésy can next be seen in CBS Studios' "King & Conqueror", a big-budget period drama that stars James Norton and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau.

Callum Turner to Star in Apple's NEUROMANCER Sci-Fi Series

"Masters of the Air" and "The Boys in the Boat" star Callum Turner has signed on to star in Apple TV's upcoming sci-fi series "Neuromancer" based on William Gibson's debut cyberpunk novel of the same name. The book earned Gibson a Nebula Award, the Philip K. Dick Award, and the Hugo Award. It served as the first book in the Sprawl trilogy and was followed by "Count Zero" and "Mona Lisa Overdrive".

The 10-episode series hails from co-creators Graham Roland ("Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan) and JD Dillard ("The Outsider"). The story follows a damaged, top-rung super-hacker named Case (Turner) who is thrust into a web of digital espionage and high stakes crime with his partner Molly, a razor-girl assassin with mirrored eyes, aiming to pull a heist on a corporate dynasty with untold secrets.

The series will be a co-production between Skydance Television, Anonymous Content and Apple Studios. It will also be produced by Drake's DreamCrew Entertainment, with Roland serving as showrunner and Dillard set to direct the pilot episode.

Dillard and Roland are executive producers along with Gibson, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Matt Thunell for Skydance Television. Drake, Adel "Future" Nur and Jason Shrier will produce for DreamCrew Entertainment.

"Devotion" is a biographical war drama directed by J. D. Dillard ("Sweetheart") from a script by Jake Crane ("Under") and Jonathan Stewart ("Clean") based on the 2015 book "Devotion: An Epic Story of Heroism, Friendship, and Sacrifice" by Adam Makos. The cast includes Jonathan Majors, Glen Powell, Christina Jackson, Joe Jonas, Thomas Sadoski, Serinda Swan, Daren Kagasoff and Nick Hargrove. The film premiered at the 2022 Toronto International Film Festival, and was released in theaters on November 23, 2022.
