I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER (2025) - Trailers, Images and Posters

"I Know What You Did Last Summer" is a slasher horror reboot directed by Jennifer Kaytin Robinson ("Do Revenge") from a script co-written by Robinson and Sam Lansky. The film is a sequel to the 1998 film "I Still Know What You Did Last Summer", and the fourth installment in the franchise overall.

The cast includes Madelyn Cline, Chase Sui Wonders, Jonah Hauer-King, Tyriq Withers, Sarah Pidgeon, Billy Campbell, Gabbriette Bechtel, Austin Nichols, Freddie Prinze Jr., Jennifer Love Hewitt, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Brandy.

The film opened in theaters on July 18, 2025.

• The slasher horror legacy reboot "I Know What You Did Last Summer" starring Madelyn Cline ("Outer Banks"), Chase Sui Wonders ("The Studio"), Jonah Hauer-King ("The Little Mermaid"), Tyriq Withers ("Him") and Sarah Pidgeon ("The Wild"). • The revenge thriller "The G" starring Dale Dickey. The film is written and directed by Karl R. Hearne inspired by his own grandmother's real-life ordeal.

Today we have new trailers for:

• "Predator: Badlands", the latest installment in the "Predator" franchise from "Prey" director Dan Trachtenberg. The cast features Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi as a young Predator outcast, and Elle Fanning as his unlikely ally.
• The Amazon action comedy "Heads of State" starring John Cena and Idris Elba. The film is directed by Ilya Naishuller ("Nobody", "Hardcore Henry").
• The legacy sequel "I Know What You Did Last Summer" starring veterans Jennifer Love Hewitt and Freddie Prinze Jr. alongside franchise newcomers Chase Sui Wonders, Madelyn Cline, Sarah Pidgeon, Jonah Hauer-King and Tyriq Withers. The film is directed by Jennifer Kaytin Robinson, best known for co-writing "Thor: Love and Thunder" and making her directorial debut with Netflix's "Do Revenge".
• HBO's dark satire "Mountainhead" from Oscar-nominated writer Jesse Armstrong ("In the Loop", "Succession"). The film stars Steve Carell, Jason Schwartzman, Cory Michael Smith and Ramy Youssef.
• The thriller "Barron's Cove" written and directed by Evan Ari Kelman ("Bandito") and starring Garrett Hedlund, Hamish Linklater, Brittany Snow, Christian Convery, Tramell Tillman, Raul Castillo and Stephen Lang.
• "Wag the Dog" and "The Spanish Prisoner" writer David Mamet's prison drama "Henry Johnson" starring Shia LaBeouf in the role he made his stage debut with in 2023. Mamet also wrote and directed the play the film is based on.

The seventh season of the action drama series "9-1-1" premieres on March 14, 2024 on ABC. The show was cancelled by Fox last year, and was picked up by ABC. Created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Flachuk and Tim Minear, the show stars Angela Bassett, Peter Krause, Oliver Stark, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Ryan Guzman, Aisha Hinds, Kenneth Choi, Corinne Massiah and Gavin McHugh.

I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER Sequel In the Works; Jennifer Love Hewitt & Freddie Prinze Jr. in Talks to Return

Sony Pictures is working on a sequel to the 1990s slasher horror franchise "I Know What You Did Last Summer". The film will be directed by "Thor: Love and Thunder" co-writer Jennifer Kaytin Robinson ("Do Revenge") in her directorial debut from a script by actress Leah McKendrick. The stars of the original film Jennifer Love Hewitt and Freddie Prinze Jr are in talks to reprise their roles. Neal H. Moritz is also in talks to return as producer.

The 1997 film was written by "Scream" scribe Kevin Williamson based on the 1973 novel by Lois Duncan and followed four young friends bound by a tragic accident who are reunited when they find themselves being stalked by a hook-wielding maniac in their small seaside town. It ended up grossing a total of $125.5 million worldwide and was followed by two sequels, "I Still Know What You Did Last Summer" and "I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer", as well as a streaming series on Amazon.

Plot details for the new sequel are unknown at this point. The idea for the new film came from Robinson and McKendrick, who reportedly blew away studio executives when they pitched their idea for a sequel last fall. The recent success of the "Scream" reboot/sequel was an important element in Sony's decision.

The second season of the procedural drama series "9-1-1" premieres on Sunday, September 23, 2018 on Fox at 8p with a special episode, followed by a second episode on Monday, September 24 at its regular 9p timeslot.

Created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Tim Minear, the series explores the lives of Los Angeles police, paramedics, firefighters and dispatchers. The new season introduces two new characters, Maddie (Jennifer Love Hewitt), a new 911 operator replacing last season's character played by Connie Britton, and a new firefighter (Ryan Guzman).
