The second season of the dramedy series "Kidding" has premiered on February 9, 2020 on Showtime. Created by Dave Holstein, the show stars Jim Carrey as Jeff Piccirillo, a beloved children's television presenter, appreciated by children and parents alike, who faces a personal tragedy and difficult family life. The new season finds Jeff without his show, trying to find a way to communicate with his many fans who still need him. The cast also includes Frank Langella, Judy Greer, Catherine Keener and Justin Kirk.

"Kidding" is a new dramedy series created by "Weeds" scribe Dave Holstein that stars Jim Carrey as a famous children's television icon, who struggles to retain his sanity as his family falls apart. The show is directed by Michel Gondry ("Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind") and it also stars Catherine Keener, Frank Langella, Judy Greer, Cole Allen, Juliet Morris and Bernard White.

"Kidding" premiered online on August 31, 2018, and on September 9, 2018 on Showtime. The series has received mostly positive reviews from critics.
