LATE SHIFT / HELDIN (2025) - Trailers, Clips, Images and Posters

"Late Shift" ("Heldin") is a drama written and directed by Petra Biondina Volpe ("The Divine Order", "Dreamland") based on the book "Unser Beruf ist nicht das Problem: Es sind die Umstände" by Madeline Calvelage. The film stars Leonie Benesch as a dedicated nurse who tirelessly serves in an understaffed hospital ward, when one day her shift becomes a tense and urgent race against the clock. The cast also includes Sonja Riesen, Selma Aldin, Alireza Bayram and Ali Kandas.

"Late Shift" premiered at the 2025 Berlin International Film Festival in the Berlinale Special Gala section. It was released in theaters in Switzerland on February 27, 2026. It made the December shortlist for the 2026 Best International Feature Film Academy Award, but failed to secure a nomination. In the US it was released in select theaters on March 20, 2026, and on April 21st it was released via streaming.

New Trailers: FORBIDDEN FRUITS, OBSESSION, CALIFORNIA SCHEMIN', PANDA PLAN 2, THE STRANGER & LATE SHIFT

Today we have new trailers for:

• THe horror comedy "Forbidden Fruits" starring Lili Reinhart, Lola Tung, Victoria Pedretti, Alexandra Shipp, Emma Chamberlain, and Gabrielle Union. The film is produced by Diablo Cody, and directed by Meredith Alloway from a script she co-wrote alongside Lily Houghton based on her own stage play "Of the Women Came the Beginning of Sin, and Through Her We All Die".
• The supernatural horror film "Obsession" marking the feature debut of writer/director Curry Barker, best known as one half of the internet sketch comedy duo That's a Bad Idea alongside Cooper Tomlinson. Barker also directed the found-footage short "Milk & Serial". The film stars Michael Johnson, Inde Navarrette, Cooper Tomlinson, Megan Lawless and Lucy Lawless.
• James McAvoy's directorial debut "California Schemin’", a hip-hop biopic starring Samuel Bottomley, Seamus McLean Ross, McAvoy, Lucy Halliday, Rebekah Murrell and James Corden.
• The fantasy action comedy "Panda Plan 2: The Magical Tribe" starring Jackie Chan.
• The French period drama "The Stranger" ("L'Étranger)" written and directed by François Ozon based on Albert Camus' classic novel. The film stars Benjamin Voisin, Rebecca Marder, Pierre Lottin, Denis Lavant and Swann Arlaud. It was selected to compete for the Golden Lion at the 2025 Venice International Film Festival.
• The Swiss medical drama "Late Shift" written/directed by Petra Volpe ("The Divine Order"), and starring German actress Leonie Benesch.

LATE SHIFT Interactive FMV Game Trailer and Images

"Late Shift" is a new interactive thriller from Wales Interactive, the developers behind "Soul Axiom" and another FMV-based game "The Bunker". Described as a "cinematic FMV crime thriller", the game features branching storylines (over 180 decision points) and multiple endings.

It was filmed in full HD in London, directed by Tobias Weber and written by 2009's "Sherlock Holmes" scribe Michael Robert Johnson. It also features professional actors Joe Sowerbutts ("I Capture the Castle"), Haruka Abe ("Cyberbully") and Richard Durden ("Oliver Twist").

"Late Shift" will be released on April, 2017 for PC & Mac via Steam, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
