NIRVANNA THE BAND THE SHOW THE MOVIE (2025) - Trailers, Clip, Images and Posters

"Nirvanna the Band the Show the Movie" is a sci-fi mockumentary film directed by Matt Johnson and written by Johnson and Jay McCarrol based on their TV shows "Nirvana the Band the Show" and "Nirvanna the Band the Show".

Johnson and McCarrol also star as fictionalised versions of themselves as part of a band called "Nirvanna the Band", who in the film plan to book a show at the Rivoli, which goes horribly wrong and they accidentally travel back to the year 2008.

The film premiered at the 2025 South by Southwest Film & TV Festival, and opened in theaters on February 13, 2026. On March 24 it was released on digital platforms.

Today we have new trailers for:

• The Canadian time travel mockumentary comedy adventure film "Nirvanna the Band the Show the Movie" based on Matt Johnson and Jay McCarroll's 2007–2009 web series "Nirvana the Band the Show", as well as its 2017–2018 sequel television series "Nirvanna the Band the Show".
• The dark dramedy "Pillion" marking the feature debut of British filmmaker Harry Lighton. The film stars Alexander Skarsgard and Harry Melling.
• The fashion world drama "Couture" starring Angelina Jolie. The film is written and directed by French filmmaker Alice Winocour ("Mustang", "Disorder").
• The zombie horror thriller "This Is Not a Test" starring Olivia Holt. Canadian filmmaker Adam MacDonald ("Pyewacket, Backcountry") writes and directs the film, which is based on the novel by Courtney Summers.
• The psychological thriller "The Huntsman" starring Shawn Ashmore, Jessy Schram, Elizabeth Mitchell and Garret Dillahunt.
• The found footage horror film "Dooba Dooba" directed by Ehrland Hollingsworth.
