"The Huntsman" is a thriller directed by Kyle Kauwika Harris from a script co-written by Harris, Judith Sanders and Steven Jon Whritner. The cast includes Shawn Ashmore, Elizabeth Mitchell, Jessy Schram, Garret Dillahunt, Brent Bailey, Maddison Bullock and Bruce Davis. The film was released in select theaters on February 6, 2026, and via streaming on February 10, 2026.

New Trailers: NIRVANNA THE BAND THE SHOW THE MOVIE, PILLION, COUTURE, THIS IS NOT A TEST, THE HUNTSMAN and DOOBA DOOBA

Today we have new trailers for:

• The Canadian time travel mockumentary comedy adventure film "Nirvanna the Band the Show the Movie" based on Matt Johnson and Jay McCarroll's 2007–2009 web series "Nirvana the Band the Show", as well as its 2017–2018 sequel television series "Nirvanna the Band the Show".
• The dark dramedy "Pillion" marking the feature debut of British filmmaker Harry Lighton. The film stars Alexander Skarsgard and Harry Melling.
• The fashion world drama "Couture" starring Angelina Jolie. The film is written and directed by French filmmaker Alice Winocour ("Mustang", "Disorder").
• The zombie horror thriller "This Is Not a Test" starring Olivia Holt. Canadian filmmaker Adam MacDonald ("Pyewacket, Backcountry") writes and directs the film, which is based on the novel by Courtney Summers.
• The psychological thriller "The Huntsman" starring Shawn Ashmore, Jessy Schram, Elizabeth Mitchell and Garret Dillahunt.
• The found footage horror film "Dooba Dooba" directed by Ehrland Hollingsworth.

New Clips and Posters for THE HUNTSMAN: WINTER'S WAR

Today we have five new clips and seven posters for Universal's "The Huntsman: Winter's War" which is now in theaters.

The film has received a lot of terrible reviews from critics. While it certainly shines in the visual department and it has plenty of star-power, neither are enough to make the viewer forget they are watching a rehash of other and much better works of fantasy. The consensus seems to be that this sequel to 2012's "Snow White and the Huntsman" is awkward, convoluted and boring.

Directed by Cedric Nicolas-Troyan, the film stars Chris Hemsworth, Charlize Theron, Jessica Chastain, Emily Blunt, Sam Claflin, Sophie Cookson, Nick Frost and Sheridan Smith.

New THE HUNTSMAN: WINTER'S WAR Trailer, Images and Cast Interview

A new trailer and images for "The Huntsman: Winter's War" have been released online. Also, The Today Show aired an interesting interview with the film's cast that you can watch after the jump.

Cedric Nicolas-Troyan's sequel to 2012's "Snow White and the Huntsman" will shed some light on the origins of The Huntsman (Chris Hemsworth). Also back is the evil Queen Ravenna (Charlize Theron) who apparently has deeper ties to the titular character than we thought. They will be joined by new characters Sara (Jessica Chastain) and Ravenna's sister Freya (Emily Blunt). Sam Claflin, Sophie Cookson, Nick Frost and Sheridan Smith co-star.

"The Huntsman: Winter's War" opens in theaters on April 22, 2016.

Universal Pictures has released the first trailer and six posters for "The Huntsman: Winter's War", the sequel to 2012's "Snow White and the Huntsman".

The film reveals the origins of The Huntsman (Chris Hemsworth), but the evil Queen Ravenna (Charlize Theron) is also back, and it seems their destinies were intertwined even before they met Snow White. New additions to the story are the warrior Sara (Jessica Chastain) and Ravenna's sister Freya (Emily Blunt).

Directed by Cedric Nicolas-Troyan, the film also stars Sam Claflin, Sophie Cookson, Nick Frost and Sheridan Smith.

"The Huntsman: Winter's War" opens in theaters on April 22, 2016.

Jessica Chastain to Star in THE HUNTSMAN

Jessica Chastain ("Zero Dark Thirty") has signed on to star in "The Huntsman" opposite Chris Hemsworth. The film is a spinoff/prequel of "Snow White and the Huntsman" and will be directed by VFX supervisor and second unit director Cedric Nicolas-Troyan, who replaced Frank Darabont ("Shawshank Redemption"). Darabont spent quite a lot of time on the film's script but dropped out of the director's chair due to "creative differences". The story will take place before the events of Snow White and will focus on the Huntsman and Ravenna (Charlize Theron). Emily Blunt is also set to star as Ravenna's sister, the prequel's villain. "The Huntsman" will be released on April 22, 2016.
