Product Description: The Year is 2022. John Robbins (Ray Liotta, Goodfellas), a former Marine Captain, has been sentenced for assassinating his commanding officer and is banished to a secret and remote prison island run by The Warden (Michael Lerner, Eight Men Out). • The horror thriller "No Escape" (formerly titled "Follow Me") written and directed by Will Wernick ("Escape Room"). The film stars Keegan Allen, Holland Roden, Denzel Whitaker, Ronen Rubinstein, Pasha Lynchnikoff, George Janko and Siya.
• The award-winning Hong Kong drama "My Prince Edward" from Norris Wong Yee-Lam in her feature directorial debut. The cast features Stephy Tang, Chu Pak Hong, Nina Paw Hee-Ching and Kaijie Jin.

Box-Office: STRAIGHT OUTTA COMPTON Wins Third Consecutive Weekend

Despite a close call with new wide release "War Room", it was ultimately "Straight Outta Compton" who came out on top, for a third consecutive week, no less. Overall, though, the box-office was pretty weak.

This week in theaters we have two new wide releases, the Owen Wilson action thriller "No Escape" and the DJ drama "We Are Your Friends" starring Zac Efron. Neither film was a hit with the critics. In limited release there is the faith-based drama "War Room" and the post-apocalyptic drama "Z for Zachariah" starring Margot Robbie, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Chris Pine. Seven new clips have been released for John Erick Dowdle's thriller "No Escape" which opens today in theaters. The film has been getting a mixed reception from critics. According to most reviews, the film provides some genuine thrills that are rare these days, and the cast is equally effective, but the movie becomes uncomfortably xenophobic and can't overcome genre cliches. The film stars Owen Wilson, Lake Bell, Pierce Brosnan, Sterling Jerins and Claire Geare.

A new trailer, seven TV spots and 8 posters for John Erick Dowdle's thriller "No Escape" have been released. Owen Wilson stars as an American businessman who moves his family to an unnamed Asian country only to find themselves caught in the middle of a coup. Lake Bell, Pierce Brosnan, Sterling Jerins and Claire Geare co-star.

"No Escape" begins a limited release in theaters today.

NO ESCAPE Trailer, Poster and Images

The first trailer, poster and images for the action thriller "No Escape" have been released. The film stars Owen Wilson as Jack Dwyer, an American businessman who moves with his family to Southeast Asia, only to find themselves caught in the middle of a coup and frantically looking for a safe escape as rebels mercilessly attack the city. This would be the first time Wilson has starred in a serious action film since 2001's "Behind Enemy Lines". The film is directed by John Erick Dowdle who has horror films like "Quarantine", "Devil" and "As Above, So Below" in his résumé, and that makes perfect sense, since this movie has a kind of survival horror vibe. The film also stars Lake Bell, Pierce Brosnan, Sterling Jerins and Claire Geare.

"No Escape" opens in theaters on September 2nd.
