Weekend Box Office Zootopia 2 Second Highest Grossing Film Of 2025%281%29

With no major new releases, "Zootopia 2" and "Five Nights at Freddy's 2" battled it out for the top spot at the box office. As the horror sequel suffered a steep decline from its opening weekend, it was ultimately overtaken by Disney's animated sequel, which continues to perform extremely well. Meanwhile, the dramedy "Ella McCay" starring Emma Mackey and Jamie Lee Curtis, and the horror remake "Silent Night, Deadly Night" both flopped.

Weekend Box Office Zootopia 2

Disney dominated the Thanksgiving holiday weekend with the animated sequel "Zootopia 2", which overperformed and crushed the competition both domestically and worldwide with the second biggest Thanksgiving opening ever. Even "Wicked: For Good" took a steeper tumble than expected in its sophomore frame. Meanwhile, the fantasy romantic comedy "Eternity" failed to find its audience.

Weekend Box Office Wicked For Good

The sequel "Wicked: For Good" soared over the weekend with a record-breaking box office debut that was pretty much devastating for all the other contenders, including newcomers "Rental Family" and "Sisu: Road to Revenge", which failed to attract moviegoers. The upcoming Thanksgiving frame will add Disney's "Zootopia 2" into the mix, which will make for a pretty interesting weekend at the box office.

Weekend Box Office Now You See Me Now You Dont Running Man

Two major necomwers battled it out for box office supremacy over the weekend. In the end, it was the sequel "Now You See Me: Now You Don't" that came out on top, while Edgar Wright's Stephen King adaptation "The Running Man" ended up in second place. Meanwhile, Osgood Perkins' new horror film "Keeper" starring Tatiana Maslany had a disappointing debut.

Now You See Me Now You Dont 2025 Movie Trailers Clips Featurettes Images Posters

"Now You See Me: Now You Don't" is a heist thriller directed by Ruben Fleischer ("Zombieland") from a script by Michael Lesslie ("The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes"), Paul Wernick & Rhett Reese ("Deadpool") and Seth Grahame-Smith ("Beetlejuice Beetlejuice").

Returning cast members Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco, Isla Fisher, Lizzy Caplan and Morgan Freeman are joined by newcomers Justice Smith, Dominic Sessa, Ariana Greenblatt and Rosamund Pike. The film opened in theaters on November 14, 2025.

Today we have new trailers for:
  • The music drama "Song Sung Blue" starring Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson. The film is directed by Craig Brewer ("Hustle & Flow"), and the cast also includes Michael Imperioli, Fisher Stevens, Jim Belushi, Ella Anderson, and Mustafa Shakir.
  • The biographical drama "Michael" directed by Antoine Fuqua ("Training Day") from a script by John Logan ("Gladiator"). Pop icon Michael Jackson is played by his nephew Jaafar Jackson in his film debut. The cast also includes Nia Long, Laura Harrier, Juliano Krue Valdi, Miles Teller and Colman Domingo.
  • The psychological horror film "Keeper" directed by Osgood Perkins ("Longlegs", "The Keeper") from Nick Lepard ("Dangerous Animals"). The film stars Tatiana Maslany and Rossif Sutherland.
  • Amazon's Christmas comedy "Oh. What. Fun." starring Michelle Pfeiffer, Denis Leary, Felicity Jones, Chloë Grace Moretz and Dominic Sessa.

  • The anime film "Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc" based on Tatsuki Fujimoto's manga series. The film is a direct sequel to the first season of the anime series.

The Smashing Machine Dwayne Johnson Trailer

Today we have new trailers for:
  • The UFC biopic "The Smashing Machine" which stars Dwayne Johnson as MMA fighter Mark Kerr. The drama is directed by "Uncut Gems" and "Good Time" co-helmer Benny Safdie, who is making his solo directorial debut. Emily Blunt co-stars.
  • Amazon's new British crime comedy "Deep Cover" starring Bryce Dallas Howard, Orlando Bloom and Nick Mohammed ("Ted Lasso"). The film is directed by TV helmer Tom Kingsley ("Ghosts") from a script originally written by Derek Connolly and Colin Trevorrow ("Safety Not Guaranteed", "Jurassic World") and a final draft by British comics Ben Ashenden and Alexander Owen. The cast also includes Paddy Considine, Sonoya Mizuno and Ian McShane.
  • "Weapons", the new mystery horror film from "Barbarian" filmmaker Zach Cregger. The film stars Josh Brolin, Julia Garner, Alden Ehrenreich, Austin Abrams, Cary Christopher, Benedict Wong and Amy Madigan.
  • The threequel "Now You See Me: Now You Don’t" starring Jesse Eisenberg, Dave Franco, Isla Fisher and Morgan Freeman.
