"Ghostbusters 3" will begin filming next summer. It's what the rumor mill is buzzing, but I for one will believe it when I see it, because there have been way too many missfires on this sequel's production. What we do sort of know for sure is that screenwriter
Etan Cohen (
"Men in Black 3") was brought in to do a rewrite of the script and that
Dan Aykroyd has given up on trying to get
Bill Murray back in the team. It's also likely that franchise director
Ivan Reitman will also return to helm the sequel. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

IRON MAN 3
"Marvel Studios’ Iron Man 3 pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. Starring Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, Stephanie Szostak, James Badge Dale with Jon Favreau and Ben Kingsley, Iron Man 3 is directed by Shane Black from a screenplay by Drew Pearce and Shane Black and is based on Marvel’s iconic Super Hero Iron Man, who first appeared on the pages of Tales of Suspense (#39) in 1963 and had his solo comic book debut with The Invincible Iron Man (#1) in May of 1968.
Iron Man 3 is presented by Marvel Studios in association with Paramount Pictures and DMG Entertainment. Marvel Studios’ President Kevin Feige is producing and Jon Favreau, Louis D’Esposito, Stephen Broussard, Victoria Alonso, Alan Fine, Charles Newirth, Stan Lee and Dan Mintz are executive producers. The film releases May 3, 2013, and is distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures."
KICK-ASS 2
"Kick-Ass, Hit Girl and Red Mist return for the follow-up to 2010’s irreverent global hit: Kick-Ass 2. After Kick-Ass’ (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) insane bravery inspires a new wave of self-made masked crusaders, led by the badass Colonel Stars and Stripes (Jim Carrey), our hero joins them on patrol. When these amateur superheroes are hunted down by Red Mist (Christopher Mintz-Plasse)—reborn as The Mother F%&*^r—only the blade-wielding Hit Girl (Chloe Grace Moretz) can prevent their annihilation. When we last saw junior assassin Hit Girl and young vigilante Kick-Ass, they were trying to live as normal teenagers Mindy and Dave. And speaking of comic book adaptations, it seems that after the success of
"The Avengers", Warner Bros. and DC Comics look to bring their very own superhero mash-up to the big screen:
"Justice League". Warners is looking to shoot the film next year and hopes to release it in the summer of 2015. Looks like a long shot, considering that the script is still in the works and no director or cast have been set. In case you're wondering what superheroes the

As previously reported, a
"Scarface" remake is currently in the works. A first draft of the script was delivered by
David Ayer (
"End of Watch",
"Training Day") and recent news report that screenwriter
Paul Attanasio (
"Donnie Brasco") is currently rewriting it. Expect more details as the project unfolds.

"Live Free or Die Hard") is rewriting the script for
"Dawn of the Planet of the Apes". The first draft was written by
Amanda Silver and
Rick Jaffa, who also wrote
"Rise of the Planet of the Apes". The sequel also switched directors,
Matt Reeves (
"Let Me In",
"Cloverfield") replacing
Rupert Wyatt.
