Idris Elba Joins All-Black Western THE HARDER THEY FALL From Producer Jay-Z

Idris Elba ("Hobbs & Shaw", "Thor") has joined the cast of Netflix's upcoming western "The Harder They Fall". The film will be directed by British singer-songwriter Jeymes Samuel also known as The Bullitts, in his feature film directorial debut, and it will feature an all-Black cast.

"The Last Black Man In San Fransisco" actor Jonathan Majors will star as outlaw Nat Love, who discovers that the man (Elba) who killed his parents two decades ago is being released from prison. He decides to reunite with his gang to track his enemy down and seek revenge.

Samuel will also produce alongside Jay-Z, who will provide original music for the film along with the helmer. The two previously collaborated on "The Great Gatsby". James Lassiter and Lawrence Bender are also on board to produce. Samuel and Boaz Yakin ("Remember the Titans") penned the script.

Elba is also set to star in the Western drama "Concrete Cowboys" about black horse riding communities in Philadelphia, and can be seen next month in the highly anticipated musical "Cats". He is currently filming James Gunn's "Suicide Squad" sequel.

Five new clips have been released for the "Annie" remake directed by Will Gluck ("Easy A"). The film stars Quvenzhané Wallis, Jamie Foxx, Rose Byrne, Cameron Diaz, Bobby Cannavale and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje.

"Annie" opens in theaters on December 19th.

The final trailer for Will Gluck's "Annie" remake has been released and it's everything you might expect, complete with cheesy humor and state-of-the-art music. The film stars Quvenzhané Wallis, who will make her first appearance since her Academy Award nominated role in "Beasts of the Southern Wild", as the orphan Annie and she is joined by Jamie Foxx, Rose Byrne, Cameron Diaz, Bobby Cannavale and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje.

Annie's life is about to change, when mayoral candidate Benjamin Stacks (Jamie Foxx) takes her in as part of a campaign strategy. Quvenzhané Wallis to Star in ANNIE Remake

The youngest ever Oscar nominee for Best Leading Actress Quvenzhané Wallis ("Beasts of the Southern Wild") is set to star in a remake of "Annie", a 1977 Broadway musical that was previously adapted for the big screen in a 1982 film that earned 2 Oscar nominations (Art Direction and Music) and 5 Razzie noms. The remake is directed by Will Gluck ("Easy A") and produced by Will Smith, James Lassiter, Jada Pinkett Smith, Jay Brown and Tyran "Ty Ty" Smith. Jay-Z will be handling the music, as well as co-producing. Hannah Minghella of Columbia Pictures has declared the following:

"With the recent Academy Award nomination and critical acclaim, Quvenzhané Wallis is a true star and we believe her portrayal as Annie will make her a true worldwide star. She is an extraordinary young talent with an amazing range, not only as an actress but as a singer and dancer, and we can't wait for audiences to further discover her.".

Wallis has replaced Willow Smith, Will Smith's daughter, in the lead role. The movie, set for release during the holiday season in 2014, tells the story of young girl who runs away from an orphanage run by an evil owner and begins a search for her parents. The musical includes the popular songs "Tomorrow" and "It's the Hard-Knock Life". Quvenzhané Wallis will next star in director Steve McQueen's "Twelve Years a Slave", alongside Brad Pitt and Michael Fassbender.
