TIN SOLDIER (2025) - Trailer, Clips, Images and Poster

"Tin Soldier" is an asction thriller directed by Brad Furman ("The Lincoln Lawyer") from a script co-written by Furman, Jess Fuerst, and Pablo Fenjves. The cast features Scott Eastwood, John Leguizamo, Nora Arnezeder, Jamie Foxx and Robert De Niro. The film was completed in 2022, but it only managed to get a limited theatrical release on September 12, 2025. On September 30th it was released via streaming.

"Back in Action" is an action comedy directed by Seth Gordon ("Horrible Bosses") from a script he co-wrote alongside Brendan O'Brien ("Neighbors"). The cast includes Jamie Foxx, Cameron Diaz, Andrew Scott, Jamie Demetriou, Kyle Chandler and Glenn Close. The film premiered on January 17, 2025 on Netflix.

THE BURIAL (2023) - Trailer, Clip, Images and Poster

"The Burial" is a legal drama directed by Maggie Betts ("Novitiate") from a script by Betts and Doug Wright loosely based on the story of lawyer Willie E. Gary and his client Jeremiah Joseph O'Keefe's lawsuit against the Loewen funeral company, as documented in the 1999 New Yorker article of the same name by Jonathan Harr.

The cast includes Jamie Foxx, Tommy Lee Jones, Jurnee Smollett, Alan Ruck, Mamoudou Athie, Pamela Reed and Bill Camp. The film premiered at the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival, opened in select theaters on October 6th, and via streaming on Prime Video on October 13th.

"Day Shift" is a horror action comedy directed by J.J. Perry in his feature directorial debut from a script by Tyler Tice and Shay Hatten. The film stars Jamie Foxx as a an LA vampire hunter who has a week to come up with the cash to pay for his kid's tuition and braces, but trying to make a living these days just might kill him. Dave Franco, Snoop Dogg, Natasha Liu Bordizzo, Meagan Good, Karla Souza, Steve Howey and Scott Adkins co-star. "Day Shift" premiered on August 12, 2022 on Netflix.

Cameron Diaz to Star Alongside Jamie Foxx in Netflix's Action Comedy BACK IN ACTION

"There's Something About Mary" and "Charlie's Angels" star Cameron Diaz is coming out of retirement for Netflix's new action comedy "Back in Action". The film will be directed by "Horrible Bosses" filmmaker Seth Gordon from a script he co-wrote alongside "Neighbors" scribe Brendan O'Brien.

The storyline is being kept under wraps. Production is expected to begin later this year. In a shrewd marketing move, the announcement was made via Foxx's Twitter account where he posted audio of him, Diaz and NFL star Tom Brady talking:

The film is executive produced by Foxx, O'Bien, Datari Turner and Mark McNair, and produced by Beau Bauman ("Central Intelligence") for Good One Productions, along with Gordon for his Exhibit A banner.

Diaz and Foxx previously starred together in the 2014 film adaptation of "Annie", which was also her last role before retiring officially in 2018, and the 1999 Oliver Stone film "Any Given Sunday".

Jamie Foxx to Play Mike Tyson in Antoine Fuqua-Directed Limited Series

Oscar-winner Jamie Foxx ("Ray") is set to star as boxing legend Mike Tyson in an upcoming biographical miniseries. Simply titled "Tyson", the limited series is not currently set up at a network or streaming service. Foxx has been involved with the project since 2014, and last year he stated that he was deep into training for the role, but at the time it was meant to be a theatrical biopic.

The series will span the whole of Tyson's life. "Training Day" and "The Equalizer" helmer Antoine Fuqua will direct and executive produce. Martin Scorsese is onboard to executive produce. The pilot episode is written by Colin Preston, who is in the process of writing the full series.

Foxx is also set to executive produce alongside Sophie Watts and John Ryan Jr. on behalf of Tyson's Legends Only League, and Rick Yorn of LBI Entertainment. Azim Spicer of Legends Only League will serve as associated producer.

Here's Tyson's statement regarding the project:

"I have been looking to tell my story for quite some time. With the recent launch of Legends Only League and the excitement from fans following my return to the ring, now feels like the perfect moment. I look forward to collaborating with Martin, Antoine, Jamie, and the entire creative team to bring audiences a series that not only captures my professional and personal journey but also inspires and entertains."

Another eight-episode limited series based on the boxer's life is in the works at Hulu, but Tyson came out strongly against that series calling it "unauthorized" when it was announced, while also accusing the streamer of "tone-deaf cultural misappropriation".

The film features the voices of Jamie Foxx, Tina Fey, Graham Norton, Rachel House, Alice Braga, Richard Ayoade, Phylicia Rashad, Donnell Rawlings, Questlove and Angela Bassett.

"Soul" was released on December 25, 2020 on Disney+.

Alfred Molina To Reprise Doctor Octopus Role For SPIDER-MAN 3

Emmy and Golden Globe nominee Alfred Molina is set to reprise the role of Otto Octavius aka Doctor Octopus in the third installment of Sony and Marvel's "Spider-Man" film series.

The new film is expected to feature multiple generations of "Spider-Man" actors. Molina played the villain in Sam Raimi's "Spider-Man 2", and the Jamie Foxx is also set to return as Electro from 2014's "The Amazing Spider-Man 2".

Foxx suggested in a since-deleted Instagram post that three different Spider-Men could appear in the film. So, it's possible we could see Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield web-swinging alongside Tom Holland.

Director Jon Watts is back in the director's chair. Also returning to the cast are Zendaya, Marisa Tomei, Jacob Batalon and Tony Revolori. Benedict Cumberbatch will appear as Doctor Strange.

The new Spider-Man film will be released on December 17, 2021.

Molina also stars in Netflix and DreamWorks' "Trollhunters: Rise of the Titans", which will be released next year.

Jamie Foxx To Produce And Star In THE BURIAL For Amazon Studios

Oscar winner Jamie Foxx will produce and star in Amazon's true story drama "The Burial" which will be directed by Maggie Betts ("Novitiate") from a script by Pulitzer Prize winner Doug Wright, based on the New Yorker article by Jonathan Harr.

The film tells the story of a bankrupt funeral home owner who decides to sue a rival businessman over a handshake deal gone wrong, and hires a flamboyant attorney to handle the case.

Bobby Shriver, Adam Richman, Jenette Kahn and Datari Turner are producing.

Foxx can currently be seen in Netflix's superhero movie "Project Power", and will next be heard in the Disney/Pixar film "Soul". The actor is also set to produce and star in "They Cloned Tyrone", and is also executive producing and starring in Netflix's comedy series "Dad Stop Embarrasing Me".
