As production on the sixth season of "Only Murders in the Building" is currently underway in the UK, Hulu has revealed the addition of eight recurring guest stars to its cast: Martin Freeman ("Sherlock", "The Responder"), Geri Halliwell-Horner ("Gran Turismo", "Sex and the City"), Jamie Demetriou ("Stath Lets Flats", "The Moment"), Anjana Vasan ("We Are Lady Parts", "Black Mirror"), Jane Horrocks ("Bloods", "Sunshine on Leith"), Derek Jacobi ("Gladiator", "The King's Speech") and Lesley Nicol ("Downton Abbey", "Blackadder").
Character details are being kept under wraps. The new season picks up where the Season 5 finale left off, with Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez venturing across the pond to continue their investigation into the death of Cinda Canning. The cast also includes returning star Michael Cyril Creighton, and new recurring guest stars Jennifer Saunders, Sean Teale, Simone Ashley, Amar Chadha-Patel, Rhea Norwood, Matthew Beard, and Sharon Horgan.
The show hails from co-creators and writers Martin and John Hoffman, who also executive produce alongside Short, Gomez, Dan Fogelman, Jess Rosenthal, Ben Smith, Jennifer Crittenden and Gabrielle Allan. 20th Television is the studio.
