Written and directed by Tamara Jenkins ("The Savages"), the dramedy "Private Life" stars Kathryn Hahn and Paul Giamatti as a couple in the throes of infertility who try to maintain their marriage as they descend deeper and deeper into the insular world of assisted reproduction and domestic adoption. The film also stars Kayli Carter, Molly Shannon, John Carroll Lynch and Denis O'Hare.
"Private Life" premiered at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival and was released on October 5, 2018 by Netflix. The film has received mostly positive reviews from critics.
